Sally I think those prices are reasonable, she would have to pay more if she had to start from scratch :) are there any plants in the beds? or are you stripping them?

Clare there are 4 rows of potatoes..I'll dig one up probably, 2 rows of onions which if big enough I will take some of and lots of other bits and bobs. When I took it over there was nothing accept weeds and rubbish over it so not all bad for her. I think I'll see what she wants to offer me first and then go from there...I need the money so if I have to sell it someone else I will

    Morning everyone! :hello:

How can it be Monday again??! Work been very busy this morning though, which is good because at least it has passed quickly! Had a good weekend, though wasn't well yesterday and got lots of baking and cooking done...florentine anyone? :D

Had an NSD yesterday and would like to get another one today if I can. I still have almost half of my weekly allowance left and tomorrow is my "changeover day" when I get my weekly cash out! I think I have been quite frugal, but mostly it was because we got the money for our wardrobe which paid for the grocery shopping this week! :T

We also sold our car this weekend (it was very old and rather poorly) but we still got £300 for it! Feel mildly guilty and irresponsible as it is being driven to Poland to be stripped down...sorry Audi :( Also got £27.50 for a pair of shoes on Eb4y :j Hubby sold his webcam and an old underwater camera case so all in all, the Rourkes are sellers extraordinaires this weekend!

Sally, I think that sounds very reasonable....allotments are in quite high demand so you never know, you might get more!

Gem, what has happened? You okay?

Hope everyone is having a good Monday....

    Jo :)

    Morning all (just)

Happy birthday Lou , any plans for tonight?

Sal - thanks for the gorgeous fabric - it's just arrived x I shall get busy planning on what to do with it :D

Just been for a lovely walk, sat at the cliff with a flask of coffee and watched all the mad people swimming round the pier and half way to France. Just popped a cheaty dinner in the oven for DH and I (last nights roast left overs all piled in a pot with the last of the cauli cheese and topped with mash. DD's are eating at school so I don't need to worry about doing anything more than beans on toast this evening.

NSD number 2 of 5 this week. Am hoping to save the £10 I've got left from the food budget to get some nibbly bits for sunday night - they're doing an open air film festival over the summer and Sunday nights film is "raiders of the lost ark" - should be fun.

If I hear 'revenue is being looked at' one more time I shall seriously SCREAM!

I am going to ask if I should look for another job...
