Haven't started one of these in a looooooooong time:)

I guess change happens for a reason and I am in a much happier place than I was 2 years ago.

The members of the DC played such a big part in helping me to see the light at the end of the tunnel and for that I am forever greatful....

Too many of you to list but you know who you are;)

Much love and keep supporting each other, it really does make a difference xx

Morning all, what a lovely post to start the day :)

I don't seem to have stopped all weekend - mainly painting the bedroom and making cushion covers for the living room. Only in work 2 and a half days this week which is nice, looking forward to a little break!

    Morning All

Happy Birthday Lou, and yes you are right the DC and people on here have certainly got me through some tough tough times over the last 4 years. I too am in a happy happy place and am thankful for my lot in life really. :)

Sun is out, sky is blue and I am stuck in work until 5pm today :(
Meeting the lady who is taking over my allotment :( Can't keep it when I move as I won't be in the area so hoping to sell off shed and raised beds which will pay for some new sofas etc for house. Then Mum and I are going to look at furniture in local auction when I get home...busy day!

    Ooh Happy Birthday Lou!

Aw Sal, it's a shame about the allotment, lots of exciting times to come though.. does the new house have anywhere to plant things? :)

No I haven't Lou...at the moment I shall be doing the 50 mile round trip to bring her back to school here. Ok on the days I am working 3 out of 5 but the other 2 I could really do without the hassle! Really really hoping that over the next couple of weeks they might suddenly have a space!

Squizz it is a shame about the allotment, but since ive been on my own its become a pratical impossibility to keep on top of it because I always used to spend 2-3 hour an evening there and I just can't do that now. The new house has a reasonable size garden and we have already been thinking about what we can plant and might even put in a few raised beds in the massive front garden that is pretty much unusable for anything else

    Good morning :)

boy was I sore when i got up this morning , had to got back to bed with Painkillers, not moaning though had a fantastic day yesterday. Dh was actually suprised i went cause i'm a bit panicy with trains.

Nathan has just harvested, washed cleaned some of the onions he grew, he's chuffed to bits :) they look good too.

Got lots to do today, not so much housework, cause when i got home last night, dh had hoovered and washed all the floors, cleaned the stairs and hallway, so it was just put dishwasher on this morning, i need to hoover cause theres dogs hairs everywhere and tidy throws and cushions where the dog and kitten had a party last night. Other than that the house is quite tidy.

I need to tidy my bedroom where i was throwing stuff out of cupboards looking for a tidy pair of shoes i hadn't scuffed to peices to wear yesterday (which has now gone in the bin cause the heel came off them whilst i was out:()

Other than that its jewellery making for the big cheese :)

Just eaten my porridge and had a cup of coffee, before i start, might treat myself to another coffee while i'm working :)

    Oh and happy birthday lou

Sally hope you get loads of money for your allotment stuff

    Thanks Claire...so do I.
Ok I paid £95 for shed and £135 for the raised beds (bought in March this year) do you think £60 for shed and £80 for raised beds is reasonable or too much? I want to get the most I can but equally I want her to buy them and not have to sort out another buyer. Oh and I'll throw in 2 compost bins with that too and the patio slabs I put down which were probably another £40
