- Email friends not call :A
- Try to figure out what I spent at the weekend while I was away - think just over £70
- Asked friends for the money they owe me
- Check banking and paypal
- Pay a bit off our honeymoon with some money we got
- Didn't dry/straighten my hair
- Caught up with the weekend's thread
- Blitz the house
- Asked for next Monday off work to blitz the house, visit a friend who's recovering from an operation and sort out stuff for getting the EA round. All free activities y'see. Quite excited…0 -

Hi Jo-Rouke, they are so easy to look after as long as they have food and water and the occasional treat -corn, greens, slugs, snails and currently they are partial to gooseberrys and raspberries!
Why dont you see if there is a Land Share Scheme near you - free land for growing and and chooks or the nearest allotment for 1/2 a plot, Chickens dont need alot of space. We got a shed off Freecycle for them and was lucky enough to be given an electric fence from grandad before he died, we get lots of lovely tastey eggs, the keep the plot weed free and eat anything!
Its easy to keep chickens and grow some veg to help keep the budget down, ie - lettuce so expensive yet a packet of seeds is £1 or less for hundreds of seeds! the OH and I arent obsessive go down regulary and it not very time consuming!been away for a while..need to get on financial track! debts.....Post Grad Student Loan, Northern Rock Loan, Egg CC, Halifax CC, A&L CC, A&L overdraftAllotment plot holder since Feb 2008 :j0 -
I've got hens as well, they don't take up too much room, - a couple fit in the size of a rabbit hutch

Cats not great with hens unless they are cooped (the hens not the chickens).
Redsam they aren't hard work at all, in fact I'd say they are the easiest, most productive 'pets' I've ever had.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
