Morning you lovelty lot!
Bitsy it was Tappers dog (note to self to stop talking about Coco so much! :rotfl:)
Wet again up here, why don't you lot look surprised? I am about to have breakfast, haven't decided between quorn sausages and eggs and beans or porridge with almonds yet. The diet is going well, althouh I haven't been weighed for three weeks! (Although I made a pig of myself last night with the meringues) I will get the Wii Fit board out and do that this morning, then set about finding WW near home for a weigh in tonight or tomorrow.
I need to gut the kitchen today and photograph my old dining furniure and get it on Gumtree tonight or tomorrow, Its well worn, so I am not looking for much, £20-£30 for a glass table and six chairs, it should do someone as a starter for a year or two. Tomorrow the kitchen company are coming to replace a section of worktop, the seal was not fitted on the sink properly and the worktop has blown where water got into it, so that's a couple of hours upheaval. The guy turned up at my door last Thursday afternoon asking to do it there and then, I was not amused and sent him away with a flea in his ear, do people think because you living in an HA house you don't have a life or job and sit at home all day waiting for you to arrive on a whim? OK rant over. Will then spend the afternoon/early evening at MILs as SIL and the kids go home tomorrow, which is a shame, I love seeing them, but have hardly done so this time, with one thing and another.
Mrs MH, hope SIL is OK and baby arrives safe and well! Oops edited as we crossed, congratulations Mrs MH, what a lovely start to the week!
Hugs to anyone who feels the need, love to all, have a good day.

¡Hola!
Having some laptop problems, but found a way in via safe-networking mode so still can use mail and web. Just out of 3 year Dell warranty, problem has happened infrequently in the past, but a hard boot has recovered it before, didn't realise it was something to report:mad:
Taplady - the puppy looks cute.
To missing and not so well posters or MIA's :grouphug:
Due to get even hotter here over the next few days!!
Weight loss is still happening but very slowly, but at least going in the right direction. Fancied some strawberries, but at 5€ for 1/4 kilo decided not to bother. Will get some Apricots later, and Melons are plentiful too.
Had a little excitement last evening, when I thought I heard my name being shouted by my across neighbour, looked up and she was on the floor in the house next to her, doing a favour of bleaching the loos, and had slipped fell down the stairs and broke her ankle! She had dragged herself along the floor to open the door and shout. She is still in the hospital this morning as needs an operation on it, will find out more later. She is due to go home on Friday - maybe!
Right going out to some sort of fiesta thingy at noon, so catch you later, lappy willing!
Take - care - DG

Good Morning All! Bright and sunny here, so towels in WM at present. DH not at work this week as his boss is on holiday, so didn't get up until after 8am. He has a trip to the dentist shortly, so I'm off to the gym. Early lunch (bacon rolls) then into Cambridge. DGD and DS went back yesterday. She was very clingy to her Dad all w/e. He was very low and miserable. Wish my magic wand worked!
Taplady, Louie is lovely!
Congratulations on the new niece, Mrs MH!
Oh well, must get myself in gear. Hope you all have a good Monday.Resolution:

I have a line of washing blowing away at the moment so that should be dry by lunchtime I'm just going to have a root around the freezer to see what i can dig out for dinner tonight .I am going to have fruit for lunch as I want to get some eaten up before it begins to get a bit wrinkled.I have some apples and pairs that need using up so its fresh fruit salad for lunch for me.

Long time no see everyone. I am finally lucid after taking an age to get used to my drugs. Not much MSE been going on, although paid for my shopping with tesco gift card which I thought was £10 but turned ut to be a £50 which was a lovely surprise so a lovely thank you card will be sent to my friend. I had been saving the card for ages so didn't realise how much was on it.
Approaching £2000 in debt now, the insurance company are being so slow and I feel my solicitor is being neutral when she should be fighting my corner.
Feeling proud as have made around £70 on ebay recently, not sure what to do with the money, i think i will put it in my ISA as eventually my bank charges and interest will pay compensated by the third party's insurance company so I don't see why I should lose my ISA intrest by paying off my overdraft with it.
Hugs to all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0 -
How good to see you around here again, Jellybaby, I had wondered where you were, and how you are getting on. Don't think about the money too harshly as a debt, it is a short term fix for a problem that you know will be resolved, eventually. And what a lovely friend, lucky you! Chin up, and take care.

Thanks
What a lovely surprise with the Tesco card. I am sure that made you smile
Right have got dressed and made bed, thats it lol Having a cup of tea then have to go to MrA. As approaching the last week of month this is the " use whats in the freezer time " so will have to have a look later and see what I have. I know I have chicken, pork chops and 2 steaks but not sure what else lol
Have had a quick look at our finances with view to getting balance of holiday saved and looks ok as long as nothing drastic happens. The only problem I have is we are going to Scotland for either 2 or 3 days in august, most already paid as one night with relative, one night in hotel paid by son, Edinburgh Tattoo tickets paid by daughter, boat tickets paid by daughter so only really need spending money. We have been offered another night to stay with another relative but think maybe the 2 nights will do.
Also MAY have a wedding to go to in September, have not got offical invite yet but grooms sister said I was being invited. I do not speak to grooms mother so will be fun and to be honest although I would be a little annoyed may be easier if I am not invited lol Then again grooms most of the guests from grooms side do not speak to the mother including her husband lol So could be fun :rotfl:
I am thinking of a little ebaying, have not sold for a few years and wonder if worth it but will have a look and see. Have to think of ways to boast holiday fund, should have already had it started.
Right tea finished so off to shops
