I am not happy can’t open my house windows as my garden is full of flying ants and worse still can’t let mindees out to play as I have a real phobia of getting them in my hair.

Cycling Yorkie – don’t despair I know someone who in her first week gained 3 pound and was devastated but she got to goal at a pound a week. I went back this week after missing two weigh ins and I am back to my start weight mind you could have been a worse and gained more.

Roundtuit – yes I take my minded children to a number of childminder drop ins and also used to attend a stay and play session at my local CC.

Onestep – Not an animal person myself and never had pets so have no idea how you must be feeling but my heart goes out to you and how you are feeling at the moment.

GunsandBanjo – I love that I sent it to a friend of mine for her children when they lost their cat.

Pigpen – look after yourself and Squeak

I am afraid I have been unwell today, so absolutely nothing has been done.:o
I will have to do a catch up tomorrow. (Inbetween eating birthday cake! well I hope to get some).

I have to tidy up the place, as we did a room shuffle and still need to relocate some things, and the SS are coming to visit at 10am on Friday. so I need to be organised!.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

This is the one I used, and it seems to have turned out OK. Proof of the pudding, so to speak, will be when Mr LW tries it tomorrow.:D

    Banana Cake
    3 large ripe bananas
    2 1/2 oz margarine
    4 oz brown sugar
    10 oz self raising flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1tsp vanilla essence
    3 fl oz milk

    1) Mash the bananas in a bowl with a fork, then blend in the margarine and sugar with a wooden spoon.
    2) Stir in the flour and baking powder a little at a time, then add milk and vanilla essence.
    3) Pour into a lined/greased 2lb loaf tin and cook for about 60 minutes at 180ºC/350ºF until cooked through and golden brown on top.
    4) Leave it in the tin to cool for a few minutes before turning out.

    Mooloo ditto what Poohbear said.:o

Onestep - hugs for you. A pet is as much a part of your family as children and partners, so be kind to yourself :A

Not with a bit of swelling and a few pretty lights.. .

If that was all that it was, I'd agree, but not fitting shoes that are already 2 sizes larger than usual isn't right  I know you well enough that you're not likely to take any advice :p so I hope that squeak is OK, and is soon out into the big wide world :T

Everyone came in, ate and went out again :) I'm going to clear away after the baking, jammin', ironing, and Scouts accounts, then maybe a crafty glass of something fermented
