((hugs ))) onestep, she will always be with you, what a lovely thought of a chestnut, so whenever you it feel you can always of the little pooch lying in the sun and spreading its love.

I know its not the same but when little speedy the gerbil died at the ripe old age of 8 years old, we buried him in our local park. Coddy (DS1), snips and i placed him in the newly cultivated wild garden. Even now when we walk by coddy shouts hi speedy!

Well not much flying done today, just lots of gardening and surveys. Repotted some tomato, chilli and pepper plants. Fingers crossed they'lll grow up nice and give lots of toms to eat. Found one of the pepper plants has been eaten by lucy aka scabby cat, while tom (the fat one) was eyeing up the lettuce.
Also the boys have gone and left for a week to be stay on a farm with they gran. So i get to tormwnt my OH muhahahah i so feel for him not :rotfl:. He's putting up the newly made curtains as soon as he walks in :rotfl:.

So sorry to here your news onestep. It is such a brave and difficult decision to make.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.

onestep I am so sorry to hear about your poor old dog. The same happened to us in the Winter so we do understand how you are feeling. Lots of hugs from me.

pigpen, when I read your post I was worried as when I had pre eclampsia I felt fine except for the swelling, didn't even get the twinkly lights. Please put your feet up and rest:)

Toots, I know that I should know better. problem is I start to feel a bit better and forget.:rotfl:

I hope the hospital staff are looking after you properly and that you are not in there too long. ((hugs))
