Kids love them don't they! My seven year old daughter and her friends are Horrid Henry mad! - I bought a set of 14 Horrid Henry books for £12.99 from Red House (which is connected to Book People I think). Problem is, I've hidden them as a stocking filler for Christmas, but my daughter found the catalogue and has started begging me to buy them :rotfl:

Fantastic - many thanks to both the OP and also the poster for the free P&P. DD went to the library for Roald Dahl day last friday and loved it. I've always loved his stories and read every one of them. Have ordered one for her birthday in January - she will be so thrillled with this. Thank you.

PS - this is a fantastic bargain as we bought 4 stories on CD by Roald Dahl for the summer holiday car journeys. We paid £15 for Charlie & the chocolate factory, James and the giant peach, The enormous crocodile and the Magic Finger. However they are read by Roald Dahl himself - and to hear him reading his own tales is just magical! The two longer stories were abridged - but not so that you would notice, whilst the shorter two were the complete story.

Certainly made the long drive easier - and I was happy to listen to them too!

Slightly off-topic, if your kids are Roald Dahl mad you can get figurines of many of his characters. I've seen these in shops and they are quite cool and look good quality. Type Roald Dahl figurines into google and you'll see - I haven't done a link because I haven't used any of the companies which sell them on the net.

Just spotted this and ordered straight away (my son loves BFG and Charlie &TCF), so many thanks to OP (free postage code still working today too!).

The only dilemma I'll have when they arrive is whether to take them on holiday in October or save them for Xmas!
