I tried using this in tesco today against the olay they have on offer - half price £7.49, but it wouldn't work as it wasn't the exact product. Oh well worth a try!

:T Result at Waitrose today! :T

I managed to use 12 of them, of in total. :T

The young guy at the checkout said he had better OK it with a Supervisor (because they have the Superdrug thing on them) ..... I thought, OK, here we go, embraced myself for a refusal but the Supervisor said it was fine to use them! I couldn't believe it, but he put them all through ... well, shortly he did ...

... that Waitrose seems to have a policy now of only 3 vouchers for shop. The young guy told me this AFTER I had put all my shopping through and AFTER the vouchers had been ok'd for use, so I asked him to cancel the transaction, put all my bagged shopping back in my trolley and went to the back of the queue. When it was my turn again I 'unpaked' all my shopping back onto the line and put it through in 4 seperate shops. Then packed it all up again and apologised for being such a difficult customer.

    :T :T :T

Does make me wonder if it is all worth it though!

Anyway, lobster tails for dinner ... anyone? :T

  • Thanks frisky  I went to Asdas this am but unfortunately the self-scanners did not open at 7am as anticipated. The SA however did accept one voucher - wonder if the alarms will go off when I try the self-scanner !

I have not tried one of these coupons yet, I hope to find one in my search tomorrow.

Regarding the Waitrose coupon policy, the CS states that coupons can be used for anything they stock, and a customer can use an unlimited amount of coupons. I went to Waitrose today with 5 of the Coast coupons (from the October Good Housekeeping magazine) and I was told that they would only allow 3... I brought along the email I received from CS, and the manager rang CS to confirm that indeed, I could use all 5 (and more if I had them!)
    I :heart2: Waitrose
  • I had a demonstration of the self scanners this morning at 7.10am on the way to the office, spent £20 and she scanned through 3 of these vouchers so had £15.00 off - surprised at that, but well pleased at my savings of 75% off

  • we used to have a Presto, which became Safeways which is now Waitrose tbh I find it very similar to a m&s in terms of food prices etc so do not shop there. however, the voucher user in me wonders what my local store will accept so will contact them shortly to find out.
