yeah, i just picked up a pile of vouchers and discovered Supedrug in the small print. might get away with it if you pick a sleepy looking till assistant who won't read the voucher.

  • I reckon they'll still be worth trying. I usually wait until I'm at a supermarket with self-service checkouts, so there's no sales assistant to tell me off! :naughty:

Tesco doesn't seem to accept vouchers specific to another retailer, but I've found that Asda will usually take most vouchers.

For example, I got a goody bag of samples and vouchers for completing the 'Race for Life' this summer - as the event was sponsored by Tesco, most of the vouchers were for specific products to be purchased in Tesco. Tesco self-service tills wouldn't take the vouchers because I hadn't bought the products, but I was able to use them in Asda and got a few pounds off my groceries there instead! More recently, I had a voucher for 50p off Nivea deodorant at Boots - once again, I put it through the checkout at Asda no problem.

Wow will look for these, i had the nice and easy ones and had used them afew times at Asda before noticing they were Superdrug Specific but they scanned fine saved alot of money with them.
  • but won't the cashier getting into trouble for accepting these vouchers ?

and if I used one at Asda on a self-scan with the 10% rule, would the machine alert the supervisor that I had not spend the required £50.00 to get the fiver off

    cheers welshy x
