    Afternoon.:D

We then went to the car boot sale which was busy but not as many sellers as usual. I am still on thehunt for a mirror and was delighted to find one with one of those horrid orange pine frames, which doesn't matter as I am planning on painting it white. It's about 32 inches diagonally and cost me £3!!!!! I am over the moon. Just to decide whether I want it up in the hall (original plan) or my bedroom.

Afterwards went to Mr T for the dog's chicken and tea bags, and the to Mr A to reurn a pair of sandals which were uncomfortable.

I understand why a dog needs chicken, but Tea Bags??????!!!!!!

Also understand your joy at getting your mirror, I missed out on car booting this morning.

Yee Har finished the script. (it's really poor but I'm out of imagination)
I experimented with an Anderson Shelter heater for the under the desk problem, also did some research on line, so OH can either have two plantpots and a candle to heat under his desk or a de'Lohngi, hmm who wants to bet on what he gets? I tried to persuade him towards the plantpots, suggesting he could also use them to toast his muffins on... he thinks it'd be more like drying them out. Quote "Fancy a dried muffin dear, I could have one ready by Thursday?"
Made a mistake in my Regia sock which took a while to hide. (could have unpicked and re-knitted.... Nah!)

    Evening all

I have been working on my prep for my interview but now feel bombarded by stats and haven't put anything together yet :( it will come though.

I did put WM on and I've also hoovered throughout, tidied and cleaned kitchen and bathroom (mmmm avoidance techniques.......:rotfl:). We have had 3 powercuts here today, only short ones but as my lappy doesn't hold a charge it's been a pain! It only turned itself off once though.

Dinner will be roasted charlotte potatoes, nut cutlet and peas. Easy enough to do whilst I keep working.

I've got lots going on this coming week - prep for interview, colleague is having his op on tues, interview weds, friend coming to stay Thurs night before we fly to Belfast Friday for long weekend, and another friend is having an op Friday too. I have no idea when I'm going to find time to pack!

Just had some good news, a different colleague text me to say his wife gave birth to baby boy yesterday - 9lbs!! He is a brill dad, they have a 3 year old girl already. We both have interview for the same job but there is no rivalry between us. I think he will get the job as he is more experienced than me and to be honest I'll be happy if he gets it over me.

    I'm off to make tea

Taplady - Aww bless @ Louie - he looks gorgeous!

Got my jobs done and my reports sent off, had a lovely dinner of chicker in breadcrums with sauteed potatoes with rosemary butter and beans - and i'm washing it down with a glass or three of Clear Lake Cab sav from M&S which I can heartily recommend :D

I think I've eaten a pound of peas from the pod since last night.....that'll be fun tomorrow...when I'm back at work....in a confined space...with the boss!! :o

    Enjoy your evening x

Had a busy day today and feel knackered :o
H sorted out DS bedroom as it's slowly becoming a tip. I did a bit of tidying in the garden, sorted dinner and entertained the kids. H is currently doing the huge mountain of ironing. Theres more there than normal as mindees mum gave me some of her clothes for DD so extra stuff to wash and iron. Gave kitchen a good clean too and decluttered in there.

Tappers - Louie is sooooooooo cute xx

Lovely puppy I remember when mine were tiny soooo cute. My boy is 10 now and he gets a bit anxious, he didnt like the vuvuzelas on the footie and kept trying to hide he also does sit down protest when he doesnt want to walk!!!!!

Redruby- which market are you talking about, have lived down here for 9 years now and still discovering new things. Does your DD name begin with A?? Golly this puzzle might run for a while!!!

Had a fairly good sleep today work was quite busy and I was sooo tired DH sneaked out about 10 ish he is off to Switzerland for 10 days. Spoke to him this PM and he was stuck in Dover, poor sod paper work not right!?:(

My parents came for supper this eve we sat in the sunny garden it was really warm. The garden is looking very dry I keep the pots well watered but grass is positivly crispy:rotfl: DD1 wont let me pick her veg cos she is sooo proud of it but its no good sitting in the garden and not on our dinner plates. Wind damage not as bad as first thought.

mum gave me her slow cooker pot cos she got a new one . mine is totally cracked and every time I use it I am expecting it to snap in half and contents to be burnt in the metal casing?? Not sure how it has lasted sooo long and not even leaked?? I might put herbs in mine.

Have taken on lots of extra shifts and just as well cos I nearly fell over sideways when paying for new uniform. All three needed something and DD3 needed whole lot have passed down and reused PE kit but they are all such diff shapes and height that hand me downs dont always work in our house. DD3 her legs are short and even the shortest trousers need adjusting the skirt was below her knees ( shortest legnth) and she just refused point blank to have it it didnt help with her sisters egging her on with their un helpfull comments.

Only seven weeks and the new school term starts:T I love em to bits but.......

Any way have a good night see you all tommorow
