ok, checked one and its a .jpg file which is 2.62MB (3648 x 2736)

Theres no reason why you cant upload a single file (Not multiple) into yahoo mail. Id concentrate on getting that to work first

What happens when you try to create an email and upload a single pic?

its says scanning and attaching and has two arrows in a circle shape going round and round
the bar at the bottom is going green sowly
stops at just before the half-way point (closer to 1/3rd of the way)
and thats it

i only waited 5 minutes today as nothing else was running at the time (just yahoo mail)


oh and then internet explorer stops working and whole thing needs restarting!!

Try using firefox in place of internet explorer to eliminate if its IE or not

same thing happened, shows uploading, nothing happens

Before going on, I think its best we check for nasties

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM QUICK SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
If anything was found then do the exact same but run a FULL scan

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)
