Really angry. Just over 2 months ago my husband got me a phone via orange in his name. He is on PAYG orange and recently broke his phone. I went on their website and found I could attach another contract phone to our existing account. i did this and paid £17.99 as I had to have the phone delivered when I knew we were both in.

So phone arrives and we call orange to connect. They tell us that we cannot connect to existing contract unless we pay £150 and we cant have this phone as its under 3 months since we took contract out on last one. We did not use dealers and used the orange website to order both phones.

I said they could have the phone back but as it was their fault, I required my postage back. They say NO it is specified in their T&C's that no refund will be given for postage.

It doesn't seem fair to me!

Not sure if there is anything that may be of use in the templates section of 'Consumer Direct', but here is the link:

I may have missed something, but if the T&C's state that you can't add another phone to an acc in the first 3 months (and you didn't read the T&C's), I don't see what you have to complain about ?
