Singlepoint scam
Check your mobile bill. My billing period is 26th to 26th and my allowance is 200 mins and 50 texts for £28. I monitor my calls and texts very carefully and was very surprised when my bill for last month was £44. Checked my texts and they were dated back as far as beginning of December. Called singlepoint. They knew the fault immediately 'data delay' they called it and refunded my dd for the overpayment. They told me other people had also complained. How many people haven't been refunded ? Will they refund if you don't call and point out their error ?

Leave Singlepoint!!! 0870 number for customer service!!! cr**** rep
Also some of the latest voda offer not available for existed customer, so why not leave singlepoint/voda for a year to experience the difference.Spend smart, and save more.0 -
I moaned and the lady said she would credit me £13 instead of the £3 they "owed" me.0

nice one for this, just checked my bill on 600 off peak and 250 texts which is £13.99 per month and with vat never is more than £20.00 so when I've been getting bills over that i was thinking better stop my texting, but after checking my bill it was as the above post and doubled over on dates so just had £22.00 credited to my account,
thanks for the tip - offa please & thank you is all it takes :wave:0 -
Why not deal with Vodafone directly? I've had a contract for just short of a year with them and never had a problem. I have previously gone through dialaphone, and therefore Singlepoint too. Never again - Singlepoint still send me a bill for £0.00 each month even now (I changed the number to PAYG).
Singlepoint are poor. I know Vodafone bought them a little while ago but in terms of service nothing changed.0 -
I had the same problem with O2 and Singlepoint. Singlepoint blamed O2 for being late at supplying the data. There's not a lot they can say when you can point out that their "monthly" bill covers (say) 35 days... so I got a refund of (slightly) more than they overcharged me.
Needless to say, I was as outraged as you were, and contacted Watchdog, but they weren't interested...Nice to save.0 -

that's what they said to me that the data was late in coming, I pointed out that my bill was 18th -17th of each month so she said I should allow the 14th - 14th but then when I queried amounts back to 10th of the month the lady said I should include that date aswell, I think it's just a scam and they're making extra money an hoping people won't notice! thanks to the op for brinig it to our attentiona please & thank you is all it takes :wave:0 -
same thing happened to me but I was able to sort it after much arguing
BTW-someone mentioned using a 0870 number to contact singlepoint CS...DONT! goto https://www.saynoto0870.com and look up their landline/freefone number0 -

what's inc.?
also, when make them work out your inclusive allowance for the last 2 months and then tell them to subtract what you actually spent and ask them to credit the difference back to your account. eg-say you have £12 allowance a month, over 2 months that =£24, now say you spent £24 over the 2 months but because of their stupid billing method you were somehow charged £5 in month 1 and nothing in month 2, get them to refund the £5
it sort of makes sense0
