Sainsburys sell Stardrops as does Asda - search on here for the enormous Stardrops threads. The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

I use it for cleaning everything from kitchen cupboards, to windows (very diluted with microfibre wet and dry cloths, the bathroom, all paintwork, laminate floors, carpets, upholstery and much more. The only thing I don't use it for is washing dishes.Jane

You use it on laminate floors?? Thats great as the whole oof our downstairs is laminate and I current buy expensive stuff fro Lakelands especially for laminates as I heard you had to be really careful with what you put laminate.
If you use it without problems I won't be buying any more of the Lakeland stuff when it runs out and will try Stardrops (do you use it with a mop or a cloth and hands and knees?)0 -
you can use most things on laminate so long as the cloth / mop is damp and not sopping wet
i either do it on hands and knees with a cloth or using a microfibre pad which attaches to a handle bit like a mop type thing0 -

Morning everyone.
The print on the bottle may be a little too small to read, but in my house the Mighty Stardrops has been used for...
cleaning oven dishes baking stains, cleaning the oven, cleaning carpets, shifting marks from walls that defied science!, laminate flooring, indeed mopping all floors, cleaning PVC window frames, laundry with tough stains - if really tough work some into the stain before washing, window cleaning, washing up if I've forgotten washing up liquid, cleaning microwave, woodwork, cleaning tough stains in fridge eg if juice has spilt & dried, net curtains, cleaning out wheelie bins, cleaning cars and cleaning tea/other stains in your sink so it looks brand new.
In fact, it does everything except cook you dinner & romance you!:D That's the only thing it can't do but I live in hope
it's amazing in the fact that it is extremely powerful but is gentle with the material it comes into contact with and with me being a fussy mare I'd be the first to complain, but there is no taint if I've had to use it for washing up and in laundry or anything, there is no kind of chemical smell. If something is particularly hard to remove use small amounts neat on your sponge.
I hope that the above will keep you busy for this morning!:D

And it took dried on white gloss paint off my beautiful brown leather sofa the other day. I still cant get over that! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Another bit of advice needed from you 'all knowing Ol' stylers'.
Moving into my new home on Friday and before I run out and buy a load of cleaners and stuff, I get the impression that a bottle of stardrops and some white vinegar will do most things??
I've searched the index for stardrops but couldn't find anything - please could someone point me in the right direction or tell me what uses it has, so i know what other products I need or don't need to buy.
ThanksLove MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0
