Checked out tesco but I guess summer & garden stuff all long gone.
When in doubt, hit the pound shops! If you can't find a plant spray bottle there, then buy one of the nice big bottles of Astonish cleaner (which work quite well, so you won't be wasting money), put it into a normal bottle, so you can just tip it out onto a sponge to use up, and use the bottle for Stardrops. I suggest the bathroom spray (blue stuff) only because most people seem to find that Stardrops doesn't clean limescale off showers etc all that well, so that means you can use your Astonish on the bathroom and Stardrops everywhere else. Only problem with the bathroom spray bottle is it has a bit of mesh over the spray hole, which will generate tons of suds with Stardrops, so just use a tweezers to pull it off.0 -
I've been to the shops, bought a spray bottle for <£1 that I will empty for using with water/vinegar solution and bought a bottle of star drops too.
I could only find white malt vinegar. Is this ok or do I want white distilled vinegar? I'm sure I've seen the distilled one in Farmfoods so didn't buy the malt one. Help!
I looked for microfibre cloths too but had no luck there either - do they say on the packet that that's what they are? Can anyone tell me where to buy some or tell me what they look like (the cheaper the better really).Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

Yeah, I've got some Sainsbury's window cleaner and it's not as good as the name brand stuff. So, I'm trying to use it all up in a hurry in order to free up the spray bottle. I'm going to put a bleach solution in it to whiten my peat-stained shower grout.:beer:0 -
Sorry to pester you all
I'll try Aldi for cloths if no other suggestions on where else to pick them up. Can anyone answer the vinegar query? Is white malt ok or do I need white distilled vinegar?
Thanks :beer:Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -

White malt will be fine. Cheapest place for microfibre cloths is Poundland - 4 (different colours and different fibre lengths) for a quid.0 -
ok I,ve recently got new laminate flooring in my through room downstairs and have just bought a turbo go duster to initially collect all the dust and a flash turbo mop to do wet mopping. (Impressed with both!)
When the flash is all gone can I fill it up with this amazing stardrops stuff or do I have to dilute it?
Also whats the cheapest way of replacing the static dusters? Looked on the tesco site and saw some pledge static dusters ......40 for 3 pound something... can't remember exactly? Thinking I may get through quite a few as Ive noticed how soon the floor gets dusty!!Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
I bought my first stardrops yesterday...but today, I used it to wash my windows with and now they're all smeary? What did I do wrong?
That said though, it cut through the grease on my cooker hood filter fantasticallyWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
How environmentally friendly is it? I looked at the ingredients but I don't know what to look out for!
Thank you
