    Hi

Just back from fast food job. Mastered the mobile stop watch. Bad news - after the receipt 'yes' they shouted we need a GAP XXX! In 2 minds whether to mention in the report. If I do is that short cut to we will not bother using you anymore from GAP? Any comments or advice folks?

I think if GAP don't know by now that their scenario is obvious then they never will. No point in potentially doing yourself out of a job.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

It's up to you. Mention it, you're sacked. Don't mention it, you should be retained.

How much do you value a burger? ;)

Good old Gyp. A petrol job that I did on Tuesday is now showing as rejected/cancelled in my assignments. Checked that I had got the 'results submitted' email back from them ok. Have sent them an enquiry about it but with Gyp it could be next week before I get a reply. No idea why it's showing as this.

At least it's a fuel visit. I wont be too much out of pocket if I dont get paid but still annoyed about it. If there's a problem, why haven't they told me?

How do you know if you've been sacked from Gap? I've just tried to book one and it says "You've reached your maximum daily assignment quota. You are allowed a maximum of 0 per day. Please try again tomorrow."

Thanks folks. Bit the bullet and put it in the report, doh. I could barely hear her through the order taking process, had to ask her to repeat twice. My she certainly had a pair of lungs on her when she shouted through to the back kitchen! Might be for the best if they boot me, fast food playing havoc with my digestion, even the cat didn't want to sit next to me earlier.:rotfl:

I hope you get sorted out. I was given a petrol job probably as my incentive for doing the fast food job today. Not scheuled until next week but the amount reimbursement is the same as the job task and the fee 0 = travel to the job and do the report for free?!!!!! Anyone care to pm me what the standard rate for these is? I don't get to view them as I've only done 9 jobs. Feel like the office junior!

That's standard for gap fuel jobs- depends how much you value the fuel I guess, I try and do them (or any other reimbursment only jobs) when I'm going that way for a job anyway. To me, that amount of free fuel means 3 or 4 full days MSing without travel costs.

I got bribed with two Petrol jobs - one for August, one for September. The September one got cancelled without explanation.

I checked the August one today, and it had been changed to last three days of July or 1st of August! Did it today. I hope I don't get the same as you!

This is on top of my "Closed for Electrical Testing" site on Wednesday which I still haven't had any word on.

Thanks for responding. Sorry if I didn't explain myself well. The scenario is for example 3p fuel and the reimbursement is 3p and no fee. So it would cost me to do the job to drive to the garage and I can put 3p of fuel in by my home?!!! any clues?

Like I say, if I dont get paid it's not a big deal. A couple of miles out of my way and a bar of chocolate. It wont break the bank. Would like to know why it's been rejected though. They haven't been in touch with me about it so I have no idea. I did have one job where I forgot to attach the receipt but realised straight away and went back in and did it. It may have been this one but they should still tell me.

Have one to do tomorrow and I'm so tempted just to say stuff them and cancel it.

In this case the reimbursement is the fuel. View it as a payment in kind. If it costs you 1p to travel to the garage then you still have 2p of petrol for doing the job. Like glitterkandy I do these jobs to top up my tank.
