Saw you had completed the 200+ avaiability audits - I completed my first one last night & it took me 2 1/2 hrs!! Hope I get quicker on the next one or I'll give them a miss. I expected a big tap on the shoulder & a 'Please leave the building' but I did do some minor shopping at the same time as a 'cover'

I did an ESA travel agent a couple of days ago, and it just happens that the call back date is tomorrow. However, when I was there she told me she was off until Monday and was it ok to call back then. By then of course the report will be overdue, so should I submit the report tomorrow marked as 'no follow up received' and say she arranged to call back Monday, or wait until Monday to submit the report and risk it being late?

I've looked at the contact details and it says the office isn't open today to ask :(

Gosh that was quick. It took me about 3 1/2 hours to do my first, and still takes me about 2 1/2 hours because they constantly move products around the store, so nothing is even in the same place twice.

Oh - I thought it was just me! I did manage to sort my products nearer the layout of the shop though - that helped a great deal but there were quite a few I couldn't find!!

Ahh maybe that's it, I hate being beaten and don't give up until I find them :D You'd be amazed where they put things!

It did help that it was a branch of a supermarket that I use, but I agree - the positioning of some products defies logic! It also helps if you know what you're looking for - its a long time since my experience with nappies. So long that mine wern't disposables, didn't realise there were so many types!

My fourth one took about 75 mins. They were extra visits that I am not usually allocated. I am sure the grocery staff were on to me!! I felt very conspicuous and was glad to get them finished. Overt ones are much much easier aren't they and more profitable :D

So would we get chucked out if we got caught?

I think you could be asked to leave - I know my instructions said if this happened to ring my company & let them know straightaway. I much prefer the overt ones too - much quicker & easier & potentially more profitable. I try to make sure that I would make at least minimum wage for a job. I'm fairly new at this & I do prefer the auditing jobs although I am only with one company at ther moment - perhaps as I get more proficient I may try some more.
