  • I'm feeling the GAP pain too! Been on for an hour and a half on one survey! It must take about 5 minutes to analyse one word!

I've never had a problem with the GAP spell checker, I use Chrome.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

The most ridiculous thing with GAP (apart from the horrendous waiting times) is that their software has been set up to expect information in a certain format. If the information I try to provide is in a different format the system rejects it - even when what I try to enter is accurate.
  • Yep, it's so slow! I'm trying to do a Gap report and one hour later, I'm still filling it in! Also I'm wondering if I'll get sacked cos the dozy person gave me only a card receipt when I asked for my receipt. I thought it was my normal receipt as I've never ever been given a card receipt when I purchased there before on these mystery shops. UGH!

Was that a burger shop - I came very close to getting caught out by that one a while ago but luckily noticed as I was putting it in my purse so had to ask for a "proper" receipt - which needless to say totally drew attention to me and I got quite a good floor show to entertain me when I ate my lunch :D

They'll come back at you for it, and it'll count as one of the three supposedly "allowed" jobs without a receipt. It happened to me and that's what I was told (and not sacked yet...)

For those that have done mystery shopping previously, how do you take the timings? I felt really conspicuous checking my watch at the required intervals. I did wonder if that's why the service was quite as good as it was...

Ask for a VAT receipt as the VAT details are not on the card receipt.

Have you got a stopwatch on your mobile phone? That's the easiest way as you don't look conspicuous fiddling with a mobile.
Here I go again on my own....

Not sure if anyone will be able to help. I completed two electrical tv visits for RE today and was supposed to get this card from the assistant. I asked at both places if they had any leaflets or cards that I could take away and both places told me they didn't have any information left. One shop printed me something off the internet and the other gave me a brochure which has the shops name on the front. The assignment notes said if I didn't obtain one of these cards, my visit would not be valid. Argghh!! Any ideas?
