Whatever the reason, I don't care as long as I have the chance to do one! I'm bored now with my usual fix of DIY jobs, fast food and supermarkets. Would like to do something else and broaden my horizons, even if it is just something to put down to experience. Did my first buyback job on the weekend and enjoyed that.0 -
I have been mystery shopping for 6 months now since being made redundant with a few different companies but the main one being Gap. I used to do them once maybe twice a week and cover about 8 shops per day. They used to telephone me a lot asking me to cary out shops and many of them 100 miles away. 99% of the time I obliged and often times on bank holidays. Always, the reports were carried out to the letter of the law and suddenly I get an email last week to say that I'm no longer on their panel and I cannot sign up again! I emailed the contact I used to speak with all the time in the company and a complaints department and I got back two identical emails saying they couldn't give exact details away but here are three possible general reasons why - anoe of which applied to me at all. Really !!!!ed off with this. When i replied back to this email I never got anything back!!! !!!!!!!

Yep, on the right track Squidgy! Funnily enough, the email mentioned the store in BSE only.0

Loads of people on here are sacked from GAP. It's almost normal. I'm going to advise that in future you don't show such loyalty to any mystery shopping company, particularly a low pay one. They are not going to thank you for the trouble you go to. I sometimes do a job I hadn't planned to oblige but I wouldn't travel 100 miles on a bank holiday to buy a burger.
Register with all of the companies and work for as many as you can rather than being too dependant on any one company.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Strange - the one I got mentioned Ipswich, Colchester and Cambridge. It asked me to list them in order of preference and give an approximate mileage figure for each.
Lol, I find it funny that you practically live on the door step of BSE yet you get offered jobs elsewhere! I mentioned those towns when asked where else I could shop.
Have you had a reply back yet?0 -
I'm really annoyed with the company that cannot be named. They gave me the photo assignments on a monthly basis, then I found out (after I'd done the photos and went to upload them) that they gave them back to the guy doing them two months ago because he's got his camera fixed
They could have at least had the decency to let me know before I went round 3 stores photographing crisps.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0
