The supershops are ok if you like their clothing and food. I view them as freebie jobs rather than paid work.
If I do return something, there's a decent window in which to return it and I'll usually pass a branch during that time, so it's no hassle to return it.Here I go again on my own....0 -
I get the impression they're having to offer these visits to more shoppers as the original "super shoppers" are now refusing to do them.
You might be right. Or, like me, I used to do about 10 jobs a month, but now the jobs take longer to do and the reports even more, it's just too many, so I've had to decrease the number I do.
I do moan about them sometimes, but I still like doing them. I think I'm quite unlucky that my 2 main stores are huge flagship ones so I have to do everything in them. Some of the smaller stores you don't have to ask as many questions or assess as many areas and still get the same fee which I think is unfair. We’ve had to remove your signature. That's fine if you've got more than one to do, and they're close by. We have one branch in town and the next nearest one is 17 miles away...0 -

Sadly these are not freebie jobs for me... they're loss-making jobs :rotfl: I absolutely always end up spending more than the fee and generally wouldn't dream of returning the item because I think they have some lovely clothes (maybe it's my age). Seriously beginning to think MSing is bad for my wealth :rotfl:

I can see what you're saying. I'm fairly lucky in that even if I don't have a job there, there are 2 of these stores quite close by and I could easily pop in when I'm in town for other things.0 -
The fees should definitely be more for the bigger stores.
Longer shop and the reporting seems endless.
If you do take these on make sure you have nothing else to report on in the same day or you will be up all night.
I love the food and clothes. Shop in there without MSing so might as well get some freebies.0 -
I agree that they seem to be struggling covering these jobs. I had an email last week about a job which needed covering over the weekend. I filled in the form about what shops I could do but I haven't heard anything since.0

But that's your choice SC. IF you only spent the reimbursement in the food section and IF you returned the clothes, you would make a profit on the job. If I don't need clothes I usually buy something in the wrong size so I'm not tempted to keep it.
I'm like you though, always end up spending loads in the food store (unless I've done several others that week then I end up wandering round thinking "What on earth can I get ... usually it's wine!!!!!)We’ve had to remove your signature. An essential when writing the reports....wonder if I can claim that on expenses from the tax man?

To be fair it's also school hols, people will be away, and also, if they are like me, they don't want to have to drag the kids round these stores too often. Costs me a fortune in the cafe as well!!!!We’ve had to remove your signature.
