Hubby keeps saying 'what are you looking at' and my standard reply now is '!!!!!!'! Just to keep him on his toes you understand!!

You're lucky! My hubby doesn't ask - but he does get told! He always looks at me strangly when I giggle, and if I find out how to do something new (like the link thing) I feel the need to tell him all about it in detail.

I do feel sorry for him sometimes!

My boyfriend knows that if "I'm just going to check my e-mails", it'll be e-mails for 5 mins and MSE for 5hrs! Thank goodness we're no longer on dial-up, but Broadband (cheapest one found through MSE, obviously). He also knows that if Martin is on TV, only I am allowed to speak - to pass on a comment about what so-and-so said on this site and how you could save money - according to this site!

If I am away for the weekend I get withdrawal symptoms - what bargains could I be missing? What freebies could I be applying for?

Hubby not impressed although likes to tell everyone about my coupon savings and my stoozing so cannot complain too much.

If only time stood still when I was on here! I would then be able to spend as much time as I want and still hold down my full time job, deal with kids and out of school activities and have a sparkling house ;D ;D

Think I'm in danger a becoming addict too, been viewing this website for past month. Decided to be brave and ask some questions last night and am thrilled to have had sensible answers.

My name is Caterina and am an Old Style MSE-holic.

It is true that it takes friends to tell you when you have become an addict and it was the kindly care of Ticklemouse that allowed me to take this step, when I proudly announced that I now have 4 stars! Thank you, Ticklemouse!

I have also started behaving in a peculiar way and will NOT buy anything if it is not reduced, also will try to get anything free before I pay for it... People around me think I am strange, especially now that everyone seems to find it a great source of fun traipsing between shops, laden with bags and bags of FULL PRICE expensive stuff....go figure....

Then, I say things like 'hey I have a friend whose name is 160'

and they reply 'gosh, that's unusual, what does it stand for?'
and I say ' it is short for 16011996' and they look at me in a strange way ;D

I would not leave this board for all the (free samples of) tea in China!
