help with genesreunited.com please

I use Mozilla Firefox
my problem is when searching records in genesreunited
it says click her to view record and when I do I just get a blank page and done on the bottom bar
so I've tried it using IE, gives me the option to download the file which I do and then has a box saying
CAER0X6B.asp
then options of opening in
HTML
RTF
text

whichever option I choose I get a page of symbols and numbers on microsoft frontpage

am I doing something wrong?

I'm viewing in explorer and download to my docs but when I open it to view it has microsoft frontpage at the top and a load of numbers/symbols

Not an answer to your techie question, but I have just had a subscription with Genes reunited for a year and found it useless, didn't get anywhere with it at all cos the searching isn't open enough.

have u tried opening and viewing it through explorer though not frontpage sorry to repeat it but i read somewhere it opens as a webpage so i thought it will open with explorer

I can't see an option for opening it with explorer
there is only an option to download
