I'm so sorry to read that you are having a 'wobble', Ellie after such an inspiring journey through your debt. Please don't worry too much, you've achieved so much already and are a real beacon of light to the rest of us still stuck in the long dark debt tunnel:A
3 of my DMP debts are being marked as DM on Noddle with a green UC marker. This has been going on for almost 3 years now and I haven't a clue what it's supposed to mean:o. These accounts don't seem to have been defaulted and I have no idea if/when they will fall off my credit file.
I'm wondering if they are reported differently on other credit files and am tempted to take out a subscription to Equifax or Experian for a while to check. I don't qualify for a free trial with either, I've tried, because I already had one a while ago:(. Am not really in a position to afford the full subs though but maybe needs must in this case.0 -
Hi Mitzib,
I use Noddle mostly but I have recently signed up to Clearscore. This one is a bit misleading I think because when I log in, it reports me having no defaults on the dashboard:p but if I look in Closed accounts they are all there.
BC are notorious for not defaulting and they will be the only CC left on my file once the others start to drop off.
I think I'm just impatient at the moment as I'm getting close to the end;)

I've seen the Clearscore ad on TV and they said it was free forever but in typical putting-off mode I haven't investigated it further:p. Will have a check on it now:T0 -
I do have to bite my tongue sometimes!!!!:mad::mad:
OH has not earned 1 penny in the last 6 months but is now bleating on about how he is sick of seeing everyone else going on holiday and doing things when he can't????? I said "I know it's hard but we are almost at the end"...response "You've been away but what about me, when was the last time I went anywhere?" Give me strength! Me going away, was 5 days last June in a friends villa in Spain which my daughter paid for!
He is itching for an argument and I am doing my best not to enter into this as I will say the things I feel and now is not the right time.
I have £40 to last until Thursday - this is what has brought on the "feel sorry for me" mood.
He came out with a cracker yesterday..."I know you say this DMP is the best thing that could have happened but I don't think it was. We never have any money so how could it be a good thing?" Durgh! It's a good thing because I don't have to carry this burden of debt into my retirement. It's a good thing because I will be able to enjoy life a bit more once it's done etc. etc.
Roll on Tuesday when I'm back in work and out of this toxic atmosphere:(
Sorry for prattling on but at times like this I have to get it off my chest and this is the only place I can do this, otherwise, there will be a blazing row and I end up roaming the streets to get out of the way:(

Moan away, you are doing a brilliant job, and he's - well, he's not.
Don't know if you've got a garden centre or something nearby that you could go to for a mooch, just to get you out of the house? I'm planning that later on too

Hello Ellie! You are doing so well and I think that the way you are managing your OH is admirable, I would have been suckered into an argument big style! You are an inspiration in how you are managing the debts and your OH! Self managed could definately help with the psychological aspect of paying off the debts, though I understand the logic about not going self managed as well!

Your patience knows no end! I can understand, however, that you want to avoid a huge row. My concern is that when you are debt free your husband seems to think he is going to have lots of money to spend. Have you thought of how you are going to manage that. At least just now you can say you need the money to clear the debt. Good luck moving to self managed.0

The weekend wasn't so bad...we called a truce and for once OH opened up and said that he finds it so demeaning to have to rely on me all the time. He is fed up of having no money but doesn't know how to resolve the situation. He feels as though he has given up and can't see any way out.
I have offered solutions in the past but he never tries to do anything for himself and this is what I find so frustrating. I can't be bothered to offer any solutions now as they just fall on deaf ears. I think it all depends on what mood he is in...
...anyway, we just carry on regardless
