'I dont know much about being a millionaire, but I bet I'd be darling at it. Dorothy Parker :rotfl:

I have seen 2 clients this week, both went well. 1 has booked to come back next week :T . So got 2 booked in for next week hoping for more.

No job interviews, 1 rejection before an interview :o. I will keep looking but have been busy with ebays.

DH treated me to meal out last night, yummy:D, still not spent anything. May need some fresh stuff today.

Will be spending tomorrow, I am booked in for a Dannii bob, but I am going to cancel my contact lenses, they cost £20.00 a month and I'm not using them much. It will be more cost effective to buy disposibles when I want them. I don't mind having glasses when seeing clients, I hope it makes me look more intelligent.

I have had a fantastic day today. I have been up in a friends small plane :A bit scarry but fab. It is a bit windy out there today, my breakfast was rolling around inside, at least it did stay inside. Not a good spending day spent about £20.00 on refreshments. Well worth worth it, I love new experiences.

I have booked in 2 clients that are recommendations. I have a reputation, and it's a good one :T

Back to jobs today for me now, maybe a cuppa and a biccy first :D

Sounds as though things are going well WRT clients! Well done!
The plane trip must have been amazing. There's a gliding club near here but I prefer watching to flying!
Keep on trying on the job front: you just haven't found the right one yet.:)

    Hi,
Just catching up after a few days away. You have had a very good few days. :j to new and repeat clients and :T:T to recommended clients. That is the start now. Just watch things will start to snowball.

I love the idea of working out the interest on your mortgage. I am currently paying interest only on a flat that I am not living in since I moved into OH's . I must get a tenant but more than that I must think about reducing the mortgage because I just worked out that my interest alone is £63000  Ok so that is over the whole period and I know that it reduces but I must focus on that. I need to go over and do the mortgage calculator thing.

Love the idea of flying and think that you are so brave having a go.

With regards to contact lenses. I cancelled my monthly payment and I now buy mine from (I think) Vision Direct via quidco. They are so cheap I get 12 pairs for the price I was paying for one month. Plus the cashback of course. If you do a search on quidco they come up with the best cashback offer.

It's raining here so I have come in from gardening. Shame I was enjoying pottering. My blueberries are ready. I have plans to pick some in the morning to have on my cereal, fresh, lovely.

Finished reading This charming man by Marian Keyes last night. I will give it 8/10 really enjoyed it. Well worth a read I will be looking out for more of her's in the library. It was just as good as 'is anybody out there '. I have started reading key of valour by Nora Roberts. It's started well so I have high hopes, never read any of hers before. I need to finish it before the end of the month, going on holiday and it's a hard back. A trip to the library for light weight books are needed. 11 days will need 2 books to see me through:D

Cherisong I will look into the contact lenses, sounds like a good option, thanks.

What a lovely sunday. I picked my blueberries for my cereal, gorgeous. I have cut DH and DSD2 hair. Just sorted some ebays I have sold. Jobs for this afternoon are- apply for a job advertised in shop window yesterday online, prepare for client in the morning, need to look up scripts, get back to my pottering in the garden from yesterday after rain stopped play.

    Knitwit67,

I am so pleaseed to hear that you have two more clients by recomendation - it is working, you know. Keep thinking about the things you want rather than the ones you don't and who knows... Also you realise that building a practice is likely to go very slowly at the begining and take off later (if you have 8 regular and satisfied clients you can get 10-14 recomendations) - so your goal of 15 clients a week is still likely to work out over the time allocated.

Keep it up and thinking of you.

Finishing up the weekend cheesecake for me then :rotfl:

2 Clients today, 1 down, 1 tonight, none for the rest of the week :o

Feelin a bit down, had 2 rejections from job applications so far applied for loads with no word, an interview would be nice. I had some one look over my CV to make sure it was ok and they gave thumbs up. Maybe the universe wants me to concentrate on the hypno ! I need to keep looking out for the signs and follow my inner voice.

Hello, you are doing really well with the clients. Now MG would tell you off for the but in that affirmation. What you need to do is just say Something fantastic is coming my way and stop STEP AWAY for the BUT :rotfl:

So every time you say it when you get to the but think in your head Step away from the but, it works honest.

Thanks Cherisong, my big butt has always got in my way :rotfl:

1....2......3..clients already booked for next week :T:j:j:T

I am very grateful to the universe and the wise words from you guys when I feel like giving up. I hope my good times helps someone else carry on when they need it. It may be little steps, but where there is growth there is life, and where there is life there is hope ;)

Going out to dinner with DH, we have Mr T vouchers and we are going to use them on chilli prawns and chilled white wine ooooooooh!:D
