Welcome home and I am glad that you had a good holiday.
I too like your book reviews.

Hi Firewalker it's all about changing your mind set by hypnosis. We all know theres only one way to lose weight, eat less, move more, simple effective, no stupid foods just less on the plate. And in my case no wine  :rotfl:only in the short term ;)

    My rules are

only 3 meals a day (you dont need more unless are very active)
use a smaller plate, cut things into smaller pieces
give all your attention to the food, really enjoy every mouthfull, take your time.
eat slowly, think about the food, taste, texture, be the last one to finish
STOP EATING as soon as you start to feel full, you don't need to clear your plate
If you are still hungry have a drink and wait 1/2 hour befor having something else

    Simples :D

Diets don't work, they just make you think about food all the time. It's about being realistic about how much fuel your body needs and giving it good quality. Thats why the wine is first to go. Think of it as taking care of your body. I get my clients to do affirmations to love and accept themselves and forgive everyone who has hurt them. We need to love ourselves as we would a best friend, we would never treat a friend the way we treat ourselves. I would never have told a friend not to go out with a bum that big, but I said it all the time to myself when I was young, crazy

Sorry it is a soapbox subject for me. If I can help people through hypnosis to like themselves more, and enjoy life then it's the best job in the world :j

1/2lb lighter since yesterday :D. Can I loose holiday blubber by saturday so I can have a well earned glass of wine? only 1 1/4lbs to go

    Knitwit,

Thanks for the guidance. My problem is the three meals per day: I am training for a marthon and when one runs such distances eating often is the way (or so I am told). But it is such a precarious balancing act that I seem to be getting it wrong - but will try the other pointers from the list.

    Keep well.

Well done you Firewalker, go for it :j

If you are training a lot but not losing I would say keep a food diary. See if you could swap for something better eg wholemeal bread instead of white much more filling. bananas are also a runners friend but I bet you know this. Have you looked on the internet there must be advice on there for best nutrition for runners. Your body shape must be changing, I bet if we could see you we would be impressed ;)

Very quiet here today. Had man here from waterboard we seam to have a leak. Got chatting about hypno and I hope he calls for appointment he seemed keen. Sent him away clutching my business card :D

Is it me or is it getting chilly. I keep putting on extra layers and socks. Went for lovely woodland walk yesterday with hubby and brought back wood to store for woodburner. ( no tree chopping all off the ground)

Had 2 clients booked yesterday, I had been recommended :T

Leaflets came back to dear so waiting to see if I can have cheaper paper

Signed up to vista print and they have sent me some vouchers for free stuff. I am going to take there offer of 100 business postcards to advertise my hypno. 100 free:beer:

    Book review

Memory girls book :T A mind to do business
Not finished it yet but love it. A mind mapping, speed reading (not read that so not finished yet), memory and study skills book. Well laid out, simple to understand. It is very motivating and will be a great help in my newly started business. 10/10 :D

I did my first mind map using the book for inspiration. I did a map to take me from now to the future being on Oprah with my bestselling book :rotfl: It could happen :D

Interesting day yesterday. Sent e-mail to exspensive printers that did my leaflets last time and said sorry getting them printed elsewhere because of price. After 2 phone calls (1 heated and he put phone down on me) and an e-mail, the truth came out ! they had already printed the leaflets as they thought we could agree on price, so they where now stuffed with 5000 leaflets that were only useful to me. I told them I was not doing the special price offer this time so that was wrong. In the end I did a deal and paid £100. I should have tried lower, but there was no point burning my bridges and they need to make a living to.

The result is that I now have 5000 leaflets so the clients should start ringing soon. I was out posting them through doors yesterday and will be out today, when it stops raining.
