Might try get bankcharges back under hardship rules worth a try nothing to lose.

    ??????????????? whats that??

Thought I would just pop in with a bit of USEFUL INFORMATION FOR ANY WITH A COOP LOCAL TO THEM!

The coop will no longer be selling certain HEINZ ranges - ie ravioli, macaroni cheese, spaghetti, spaghetti hoops and alphabites (in the small 205g tins) so this stock is being reduced to half price --- ie most ranging from 18 - 35p a tin so could be worth stocking up on as I found one tin makes two portions for 2 children or one tin is a handy size for having on toast.

They are also getting rid of the red/white checked breakfasts in a tin, some chick peas, small tins of garden peas, there was tomatoes there too. Also weight watchers beans in tins as well. So I've been over and had 10 x spaghetti hoops and 11 x coop small beans (their brand - turquoise label) all for the grand total of £3.79 (that's with my 10% staff discount - its would of been £4.20) but considering they are 44p each normally (£9.24!!!!:eek::eek:) thats a saving of £5.45! :j:j:j:j
    Time to find me again

Weather here is awful, chucking it down all day although quite mild so no heating bills, but not very good for washing so I'll leave that till tommorow, I didn't have a full load anyway.
Read the kids the riot act about putting clean stuff in the washing basket coz they can't be !!!!!d to put it away so I seem to have a lot less washing...amazing that isn't it? ('till next time/riot act rinse and repeat)
If you have no labels for the jam there are a load of sites to print them off for free if you have a printer.
Good luck with the play room project, made me tired just reading about it.LOL
  • i didnt think of that, good old internet!!! the playroom will end up another room for them to make a tip of, in all honesty, but i can dream! i think i have this little vision of them wearing cath kidston sweaters, colouring and singing nursery rhymes. the reality will be quite different!!!!

Good thing about playrooms is .... you can shut the door. Closed door policy in my house at all times, my two are grown but still have 'em at home while they go to college hence my mega skint status.

They give messy rooms a whole new meaning. I have no Idea what colour the carpets are in there, I haven't seen them for years.

bluebag you reminded me of the days when my lot used to chuck clean stuff in wash instead of putting away i found that when i removed any clean stuff and put in my room after a few times they would have hardly anything to put away they'd ask where their clothes were id reply what clothes i washed what was dirty and thats all there was then id say oh you mean the clean stuff you didnt put away last time and after a couple of weeks they realised dirty stuff gets washed clean gets confiscated till they admit they didnt wear it it worked and also made me realise they had too many clothes so id always keep a few back for emergancys they soon stopped doing it cos they'd miss their favourite top and it also made wash day much easier with 7 it was a lot of washing

  • I just give it back - won't wash anything if it doesn't need it - and if it's crumpled - tough!

  • I have a nightmare with teenagers clothes washing and am forever just folding it back up and putting it their rooms. Easily over half of it hasn't even been worn. It takes them over a week to realise they can't see their floors and need to bring their dirties downstairs.

The only thing I will venture in and collect is school uniform as they think if they don't have any clean on a Monday morning then they don't have to go to school

Was I really this bad when I was younger?:)
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x
