Its amazing what people leave when they move house isnt it
I'm truly gobsmaked... have folks no shame, I would be trying to get rid of it all in the neighbours bins ( bit prudish see?).
I haven't moved house for 23 years but I kinda hope I would find a hidden stash of cash or a valuable painting not a mangy rabbit ears and miles of black plastic LOL:rotfl:Sheesh!0 -

Wagglesmells- I am on Virgin too and the best thing to do is to go on to www.saynoto0870.com This way you can put down the number you have been given 0845.......and the system then gives you an alternative geographical number.
Since then I havent used 0845 numbers at all and my bill reflects that. HTH0 -
Confession time.... I have my heating on coz I'm a freezing wuss. I'm getting on a bit now and the creaky bones don't do well in the cold ( that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)
I sure hope we don't have a winter like last year. I'm still waiting for the fuel bill, only once a year and the meter dude came a few weeks ago, so, any day now. I shall hide it from Mr bb if it's really bad.0 -

I warmed the microwave by sterlizing my breastpump & baby bottles and then stuck the dough in the microwave and shut the door - it rose like a dream!
Did you know that dough will rise in the fridge? I was surprised at this when I 1st tried it. I was always nder the assumption it had to be a warm room. You can make a dough and pop it in the fridge overnight:)Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

Always had bad circulation and getting older doesn't help.0 -
Morning all
well im awake, ben is awake, holly is just nodding off on my lap drinking her bottle, J (step son) is still asleep after refusing to go to bed last night and owen is still in bed with man flu. He seemed fine when he got in after his workout but made the mistake of laying down on the sofa and it zapped his energy quickly and hes been sneezing, coughing and sniffling ever since with the occasional mandatory 'feel sorry for me' groan. How are men so pathetic when they're ill??? if that was me I'd still be the one up at 6am looking after kids but he'll expect to be waited on hand and foot today now. Think a big warming bowl of lentil soup will be on the cards for his lunch today. Got him off tomorrow because J has dentist and it was the only time they could see him before she goes on holiday so he has a day off school tomorrow. (should add thats not my fault - his incompetent mother lives 100 yards from a dental surgery but couldnt be bothered to get off her backside to go and register him so at 9 years old and never seen a dentist I had to register him with ours which is 40 minutes from her house.:mad::mad::mad:
Anyway rant aside, I am now wonder woman - managed £35 on a decent shop and then carried (by myself) the whole lot back through town to the bus station:D:D only to get told I was mad/crazy/not right in the head etc and a taxi would have been easier but I had a return bus ticket and am not exactly well to do at the minute so I was determined to use it. Although I do need to go and get dog food, he had enough to last the weekend but a trip to town is needed for some more on Monday. If weather permits I think I'll walk in though.
Cant wait until boyfriend is paid on friday - hoping he hasn't got too much of an overdraft so he gets all his wages though. keep telling him to change his account to one with an overdraft but he wont listen and as a result gets left short every month etc
wagglessmells ---- i know the feeling with tax credits - I had to make quite a few calls to them this month and last regarding babe etc and my virgin bill reflects it!Time to find me again0 -

I'm a wuss too and I'm not that old yetIts really cold / draughty here this morning. I think I'll have to find my furry boots rather than just my slippers as my legs and feet are freezing.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Bit cheeky this, but if you've got a package which includes 01 & 02 numbers, you can use this number to get through to tax credits on.
Quoted from HMRC website...
If you're calling from abroad please telephone:+44 2890 538 192
Remove the ++ and put a 0, so 02380... doesn't cst anything then no matter how many times youcall, assuming you have an inclusive package.
hope that helps someone,
Vicky
Just a quick warning on using the non 0845 number for tax credits, I always use saynoto for numbers and use the calling from abroad trick for tax credits but last year I was asked if I was calling from abroad to which I replied no, the adviser then informed me that if I used the non 0845 number in future they would not discuss my query. I simply informed them I was using the 0845 number but she was adamant that her system wasnt wrong (I have worked in a few companies whose phone systems tell you which number your caller has dialled ) and she was noting my file.
I went on to call again a few weeks later and got someone else who before speaking to me asked my details then asked where I was calling from, when I said home she refused to deal with my query and told me that I had to use the 0845 number and that I had previously been told this. Since then I have tried any number of times the abroad number but always get told I must use the 0845 number and they hang up.0
