Some advice if you will,

A few days ago I spoke to Vodafone business service via the internet, upgrading my package as an internet (dongle) user to get my hands on an iphone 4. The deal was done with relative ease and I was happy.

I must admit, at first I was slightly reluctant to go ahead with the deal, stating to the lady who had helped me that I needed to keep at tight ship with my business, and couldn't justify the slightly higher phone tariff, as a sweetner she offered to reduce the afore mentioned dongle price tariff (an unlimited month by month, at £18.50 +vat deal) to £8. Which wasn't bad at all.

I was still cautious, but after finding a tariff on iPhone4 I was happy with signed up to a new phone contract. A few days later I remembered the sweetner deal she had offered (and hadn't initially taken up) and emailed her back, stating that I had recently had home broadband installed (all true) and that I whilst I couldn't justify the dongle outlay anymore would be willing to accept the reduce price plan she had offered two days earlier to stay with them.

She immediately sent me a reply with the new cost of £8.51.

Brilliant I thought.

Earlier this morning at work, I noticed a pop up from Vodafone outbox, upon checking it it showed that I was close to my 3gb data usage and would be charged another £15 for the next 1gb.

I was baffled as this was supposed to be an unlimited service, upon closer inspection of the earlier email fromm the lady at Business service, she had not only reduced the price plan (as she had stated in the only sentence she had written), but below that there was somne abbreviated text;

Mobile BB 3GB 18m

I was under the assumption that she had merely reduced my old contract price, but as you can see she has instead signed me up to a new contract altogther, and for 18months!.

I'm really not happy about it. And before I ring/email back, would just like to get my facts straight, as to either reverting back to my old deal with the reduced offer or cancelling this 'new deal' altogether.

Thanks in advance.
