Morning Katsu and all who follow...

Well after saying about our lovely blue skies and warmness last night, within the space of about 10 minutes the wind got up, it went pitch black and rained and thundered like it was the end of the world.....all for about 10 minutes....

Very windy out there this morning and it's supposed to me pretty damp all day.....so if we're wanting to believe the whole St. Swithens 40 days of rain thing, we're in for a bad summer.

Going to write my christmas list today - who I need to get for, what I need to buy towards making pressies and list the bits I've already started/got. I've got DH's 40th in November too so I need to squeeze some money out of the budget to be able to afford everything.

Anyone got a money tree going spare?

Anyway take care one and all who follow have a grat day and don't get blown away although the sun is trying to peep through at the moment!! Billie x

It's very crappy weather here. So, I still need to go into town for cereal and milk and a bit of money, so I'm goingto get a kagoule thing so I can run/not get wet all the time. But I do need to get dressed first....

Awwww Sal - loved the photo of you and R on FB, you look so happy :)

We had an amazing thunderstorm last night - I managed to walk home super-fast so that I got in just as it was starting. Really windy here too this morning.

Tired today, work is quiet again apart from a few little hassley things.. want to go home and play with my new sewing machine! :)

    Morning everyone! :hello:

I am so glad it's Thursday, I am really tired this morning (probably the half bottle of red wine last night!) and the weather is YUCK! Cannot wait for the weekend. Had a lovely night last night, hubby brought home a bottle of red wine and then he cooked me dinner - he made yummy quesadillas and we just sat and chatted - it was really nice. Bit sleepy this morning, didn't have enough to drink last night to be hungover or anything, but am just tired.
Tired today, work is quiet again apart from a few little hassley things.. want to go home and play with my new sewing machine! :)

Ooooh! What type of sewing machine did you get? What are you planning on making? I hope to do some bags and cushions as Christmas pressies this year :)

Hey Pooky, I wrote my Christmas card list the other day and figured out how many stamps I need to buy....the answer was LOADS. So going to start stockpiling them from this week. I'm getting 2nd class ones. On the Christmas present front, I am going to have a look at the Book People website, I think they do really fab deals. Have set aside 2 LoveFilm vouchers that I got for being a loyal customer :D and they are going to make up part of my nephews' Christmas pressies and I think I might get some of those La Senza PJs that were on this week's email.

Was having a look at flights home for Christmas yesterday...they're ALREADY over £70

Hope everyone's having a good Thursday!

    Jo :)
