From my experience 'Test & Vote' are not worth joining.
1. They will send you endless surveys in which once you start them you will be told 'You are not eligable to do this survey' and then chucked out
2. They take no notice of the information they give you. I put in that I didn't own a car and never driver and got offered the chance to go on an Automotive (car) company panel!
3. They don't honour their rewards. I got enough points for an HMV voucher for 15 pounds and applied for it. After a month and a half I contacted them only to be told they had no idea when I would get this as the client had not given them the vouchers. had to admit the guy who told me this did come across as quite a nice chap and was apologetic, but I don't think in all honesty I'll ever see that voucher. Felt quite sorry for the guy for working for them.
I compare this to Lightspeed, who I made 10pounds within the first 2 days of joining and sent the rewards with 24hrs of my applying for them (amazon vouchers). They also reward you with competition entries if you don't qualify for the survey which is a lot better than test and vote, and they reply to emails quickly and politely.
Theres quite a few mentions of 'test and vote' people not getting their rewards on the internet, so it doesn't look like mine was a one off.

What can we do if we don't get them I don't want to lose £80 worth of pixmania vouchersThanx

I do have to agree with Andy in saying Lightspeed is one of the best survey sites out there and one that won't take you 4years to make £40 unlike Test and Vote!DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0

There is a lightspeed thread on here and reading that they seem about as bad. According to that thread its saying which magazine are interested to hear users experiences as apparently a lot of people dont get the points or vouchers

They do give ipoints though and it is almost instant, how about swapping them for ipoints instead of HMV or pixmania vouchers then you can get things with the ipoints instead?
They may be able to change them to that instead if you ask them I dont see why not.0 -
From experience they don't answer emails so no point even bothering to ask them plus ipoints vouchers work out much less value than the pixmania ones or I'd have chosen those I looked at those firstThanx

Ugh, the HMV vouchers are £12 now? And points only last for 2 years? I doubt T&V are going to be around in 2 years time tbh. It looks increasingly dodgy. Cash out while you can!0

i want out but i want to at least try and get 60000 points first... only another 30000 to go!
Does anyone else think that there surveys are worth less and less points? I used to get lots of surveys for between 7000 and 15000 points but now they're all 1000-5000 and i never qualify anymore either!2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

Hey guys,
New here but I lurk quite a bit.
After hearing the name "Frederic-Charles Petit" I did a little search on google and came up with his French mobile number, so I gave Mr. Petit a call using Skype (VOIP program) using the SkypeOut function which is pretty cheap, just over 1p a min to landlines in most Western countries.. his mobile was about 12p a minute.
Anyway a flustered Mr. Petit told me he was just getting aboard a plane! how convenient!
He gave me a number for Donna at test and vote, so I called her, ive explained all the problems ive been experiencing and by the looks of it the members here on this forum have been experiencing the same problems too!
Apparently they reply to "all emails received" and there must be a technical problem with the email form on the site.
Shes looking into the non-creditation of points, but apparently the normal time to receive them is 4 weeks after completion! Funny that as im sure the emails say when they receive all the respondents and the survey is closed!
Apparently the HMV vouchers being reduced to £12 from £15 are to bring the rewards more in-line with other survey companies (a point I cannot comprehend - surely if they offer better incentives, they will get more people filling out surveys?!)
Anyway, like I said shes going to look into it and email me.. so we'll see!!! I didnt keep any copies of the emails of the surveys I filled out though.. oops
