I work at a IT dept at a university, which purchased very very similar spec PCS 3 years ago from RM. Very low failure rate. Runs XP fine, they are coming to end of life for us as well (3 years)(out of warranty). We normally sell them to staff/students for between £100-£160 just to get them out of the way quickly ready for new ones. I am still using one typing this post.

Bought one it arrived Monday and would not fire up at all. Thought it might have been a problem with the AGP Graphics card but the pre installed one did not work either. Removed all the components and was just about to give up when I noticed the processor pin was bent. Managed to unbend it and reinstall. Hey presto everything fires up. Seems like a good machine although a bit noisy (I did notice a broken fin on the cooling fan). Maybe this was why the processor had been removed in the first place? On balance as long as I get a couple of years out of the machine I think this is a bit of a bargain.Thanks to op.
