What floorplan? There is no floorplan. How can people know what the layout is .... and discuss it ... there's no floorplan. I'm lost.

Not a nice house though anyway.

There is a floor plan in the brochure - if you are talking about the OP's house.

I opened the brochure before I posted ... still didn't see any floorplan. I'll look again.

Nope. No floorplan. The words FLOOR PLAN exist in the brochure... but no plan.

    Ah - it's a secret/hidden floorplan. I copied/pasted where it says:

    FLOOR PLAN

    116colwy.wmf
Jackson Grundy prepare these plans for reference only. They are not to scale.

And when I pasted that here, I can now see there's a hidden image. In my browser there was no link, no image.... So, now I am choosing inspect element, to copy/paste that into another browser.... and it's a wmf file... so now I am saving/downloading that.... and opening the folder containing it ... and ... there it is!!

What sort of idiot puts a floorplan onto a website that's in an obscure format?

Vebra.com does. For literally months while we were viewing houses we thought that a particular agent didn't do floorplans. They do - you have to right click the word floorplan to get a file that only opens in MS Paint!

Odd shaped houses turn up on occasion round here so I wouldn't call it quirky myself. Must be annoying when you buy flooring.

I don;t mind the shape but I do mind the total lack of garden! Just a tiny yard. Price is v cheap though. You'd have to see it to know if it spoke to you or not.

I think the house is really quirky, shame it wasn't in my area to rent, I love houses like that.

Also great tip about the floor plans, didn't know that, will go back and try that on the house we are looking to rent!!!

I pass a couple of houses like that most days. I often wonder if living in one feels as if you're gaining a bit of extra space or losing a bit?

it doesn't seem that quirky / weird to me - there are lots of houses in central London on odd-shaped plots, I reckon. Square or rectangular often seems the exception rather than the rule!

this one's a pretty strange shape:

This one's even more random, bits sticking out all over:

The second one's just naff beyond all belief. Sort of place John Prescott would buy. And I bet it has swanky taps.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
