im looking at my outgoings and trying to find cheaper options as you know im paYING £90 FOR LIFE/CRITICAL ILLNESS cover and ive been looking at other quotes ive had one on the internet from legal and generalfor £16 a month sooo my question is is £90 way to expensive or is the £16 quote an obvious error?????

I know nothing about premiums etc so don't know which is more usual  If you have the time, try going through the details of each policy and compare what they offer, perhaps there's a crucial difference that makes one more expensive? More than likely that you can find a policy for cheaper than the £90 though, companies are often keen to attract customers with low prices so a good deal should be out there :)

  • In my view £90 per month for life and critical illness is too much, bearing in mind that it isn't covering you for OH current problem.

To give an example, I pay £24 per month for life and critical illness for myself my wife and my 2 year old. I'm happy with the smallprint and it is with Legal and General.
