i have a blue badge, i have been disabled for a long time but only just recently got a badge as i didnt realise i was entitled to one, i am not in a wheel chair but have trouble walking, i can get there just about .............. in the end.
i dont use disabled parking spots very close to the shopping centre if i feel i can manage a little extra on that day because i always think someone might need it more than me, but sometimes i have to get as close as possible, depending on my body that day.
i did however once park in a child and parent spot, and i did have my child with me, popped into tesco to get some bits and on the way round bumped into my mum, baby was screaming to go with nanny so i agreed and off she went, when i got back to the car i got a mouthful from some bloke for parking there with no child ! i was so embarrased as i hadnt but was too late to explain , he screamed at me got in his car and sped off !0 -
