Thank you all for your response.
You know what happen, I just call that scam company "premier control security", I DIDN'T MENTION MY DETAILS AND MY REAL NAME! Lady pickup the phone she was litterly walking on the road, the 08448793191 phone number was connected to her mobile. and she said you have to send the money by cheque or cash as special delivery, when I said to her can i pay by debit/credit card she said, No, we cann't take any payment on the phone or online.
SO MY ADVICE IS: PEOPLE DON'T PAY ANY PENNY TO THEM, EVEN THE COMPANY IS NOT REGISTERED, AND DVLA CANN'T GIVE AWAY YOUR DETAILS TO UNREGISTERED COMPANY. SO DON'T WORRY AND TAKE GOOD SLEEP.0 -

You can, and I would say should, find out from the DVLA who made the request for the registration details. The requestor has to have documentary evidence of their bona fides and be registered with the Information Commissioner. Get full details from the DVLA.0 -
hi everybody. i got a ticket on my car today (14 oct ) by the PCS company in Mac's in Southall. any update on this company please. some of the posts are from an earlier date. i parked up, bought my son a meal, while he was eating i left him for maybe 5 mins to finish eating whilst i went accross the road to pick up something. when i got back to the car with my son there was a ticket on my car. i spoke to the attendant in the car park who pointed out a sign saying i could not leave the site whilst my car was parked. i explained that my son was eating inside but he would not listen, mentioning a scenario that if there was a fire and they needed to vacate the premises i would not be around to move my car! ! PLEASE ADVISE. i rang the number given 0844 879 3191 and it said leave a message, the website is running ........so any updates on this please let me know, otherwise ...........................0

Nothing has changed with this or any other private parking company. Just ignore and don't contact them. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
What a bloody stupid scenario, why would you have to move the car if there was a fire, the cars would be left where they are you to go the assembly point, and what has that got to do with a piece of big mac wrapping that is called a parking charge notice ?
The simple advice is just ignore, go for a whopper next time
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
I got into the same mess two weeks back. The problem is I was using a hire car and I was scared they would charge the hire company and the hire company would charge me back + admin. But going by the above posts, it seems they won't be able to even find out from DVLA? Can someone be absolutely sure about this with relevant url/links to dvla please?0

Can you elaborate please have you received a private parking ticket? If you have you should instruct the hire company not to pay, and forward any communication to you.
Some hire companies believe these tickets are genuine pay them then charge you.0 -

Yes, I did. The ticket says "Parking charge". The hire company says it believes all such "authorities" to be correct in their assessment of the situation. So , if that does happen they would pay up.0 -
also, For everyone Info;
google dvla parking info (im not allowed to post links because im a new user on moneysaving expert).
it does say company should be registered and should have an address (not a po box) to request details from dvla.
further signage should be properly displayed. It most definitely is not in this case!!!! both signs are in two corners where any likely offender is least likely to see them...0 -
It goes against the spirit of the Data Protection Act but it is a nice little earner for DVLA. Each time the scammer requests information it costs them £2.50, if they get nothing back it helps to put them out of business.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0
