in my defence, I do have a streaming cold, and feel fairly crappy with it, so the heating is more necessary than if I was my usual self.

Will do! In fact, I couldn't believe I put 1.5lb on this week, because I am sure that I have blown at least 2lb of snot from my nose in the last few days!!!

I'm free the 29th too, ds is at his dads on the saturday
We could do something Halloweeny??
I'm quite nervous about the Jamie thing now, no idea whos coming, have given out lots of the invites but no-one has said for definite if they're coming apart from my best mate
However, loads have said they should be able to, so it might just be one or two people or it may be about 30 all crammed in my little flat

Back from shopping and collecting ds from his party. I managed to spend £50   while I was out ... £10 on a memorystick, £13 on a crdigan and socks in primark, £25 on walking boots (got 2 days out in the forest this week and it will be pretty wet), £1.50 car park, £2 on wotsits and tictacs, £2.90 on teacaked and bread rolls in the bakers and 79p on a birthday card.
Ds is about to go to his dads then I'm having a lazy afternoon/evening with the laptop

Pooky and Milly thankyou so much for your advice re. the hard-drive, I am so so so proud of myself tonight, I've only gone and done it all by myself :j :j :j :j
I decided that even though I could get an external case on ebay for about a fiver, I needed it today so I could crack on while ds is away and get it done. So off to PC World and £19.99 parted with , and three hours of dismantling old laptops, hard-drives, finding other screwdrivers that fit etc etc .... anf finally finally ... I've only gone and done it :j :j
I now have all my photos on here (although they are in their folders without showing me what they are, so hundreds and hundreds of unnamed pics all looking the same at the moment, but at least they're on here
). I also have all my mortgage docs, all my finance records from the last 4 years, all my mystery shopping records, aah, I am one happy bunny tonight

So now I am going to enjoy the rest of Strictly, then XFactor, while re-organising everything on here
