We're free the saturday after next Tigz if thats any good? (about the 11th I think?), some of those places look lovely! Ds has done milestones several times I think with ex-from-hell, but I like the look of the farm, manor house, windmill, country park ... ooh, I wish Dorset did something similar; I have a Hampshire car park pass (about £8 for the year), Dorset do a similar one and it costs £85 a year for normal car parks and £252 if you want the beach ones too  :eek:Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Ds has helped mum with her dence again today, I went to tescos and spent £47
but that included several bits I hadn't reckoned on getting ( a Toy Story 3 towel for ds mas stocking reduced to £1.50, a scarf for me (£4), pants and socks for ds and 50 blank cd's (£6.50).
I came home, put it all away, dusted and hoovered through (still got the bathroom to clean) and then went to collect ds, staying for dinner and a family game of Scrabble and then fell asleep on the sofa for 2 hoursMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Cool, I'll put it on the calendar Tigz
The ebay item sold for £1.99 as expected, still its another £2 for the pot. Today we're off to a local fete / carnival for the day, we're going to get the train there as parking will probably be a nightmareNothing much else to report now, sun is shining and am hoping it will be a good day

We had a lovely day out, the weather has been beautiful, we saw the carnival and went to the fete; spent £6 on train tickets, £2 to get into the fete, £2 on a tombola, £3.70 on food and £1.45 on sweets. I did win a big mirror in the tombola, it has a wooden frame and I may try painting that as it is totally the wrong colour wood, I also took a picnic (salad and couscous), but forgot to take cutlery so ended up bringing that home againMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Sounds like a nice day - it has been blustery here and the sun only came out quite late, but the rain stayed away which is always a bonus on a bank holiday monday!

So ladies and gents, my next new idea is Phoeenix Trading. For any of you who haven't heard of it it is a direct selling business, selling greeting cards / gift wrap etc. I have been considering something like this for a while and I used to sell Usborne books, well when I say I used to sell them it never really got off the ground as it was around the time ex left me so I never really gave it a proper chance, and then with me moving down here etc it never got going.
The reason I am thinking about this one as opposed to going back to Usborne is that they (Usborne books) are now available in so many shops on promotion that I don't believe in what I'd be selling anymore. Howver, the Phoenix cards are beautiful, great quality, and cost £1.20 each (or £1 if buying 10). The advent calendar I bought yesterday was one of theirs, it cost £1.50 and is gorgeous
So, tonight is going to be spent reading all the threads about it, trying to do some basic calculations and thinking it all over some more ....Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

I think their stuff is excellent and have been ordering it for years through people at work etc. I am sure you would do well at it because the stuff is so reasonably priced yet is excellent quality.
