Things seem even wierder now; I spoke to the csa again this morning and they have confirmed yes he has got a new job and my payments shouldn't be changing by much at all  Now I'm confused, why would he lie to his son and tell him he hasn't got a new job then??

I don't care either way what he's doing, I just want to know whether my income will be affected, and if so, by how much?? No reason to lie to your own child is there??

So, anyway we're off out to a local castle and a lighthouse for the morning :D

Can you ask him when he next speaks to ds? Or have you been advised not to? Hugs to you both.

No, don't speak to him, just wait and see what arrives in your account. work on the basis that nothing is coming, then anything you DO receive will be a bonus.

Also, of course, no way of knowing whether any employment of his will be temporary or permanent so best to exclude the amount from your calculations anyway, and work on a worst case scenario basis.

Dangers - I was advised by the solicitor not to have contact with him and tbh he isn't known for his honesty; if he's happy to lie to his son then he'll continue lying to me too

Hypno - once again you make lots of sense; its strange how everything becomes jumbled in my head but by putting it on here and getting replies it helps me to focus and see things clearer again :)

I know when I'm back at work it will be easier as I have less opportunity to spend money, but the holidays are definitely harder and I think that may be why I'm more stressed about it :o

We had a nice time at the castle, mum and dad came too, we walked to it, had lunch and a walk around inside and then caught the ferryboat back. Total spends so far = £22.50 but mum said she'll pay me back for their ferry fares so may get some back. We're home now and I'm having a lazy hour ot two on the sofa as I'm shattered, then we're going to mums for dinner tonight :D

I ordered ds pencil case (£4) and on top of todays spends that means I now have £103 left to last the rest of the month. I should be okay for petrol, have 3/4's of a tank left, and hopefully can get away with £30 for food, which would leave me with £73 for ds haircut, tshirt and whatever else we want to do in the holidays ;)

Another offer tonight should make me £23 profit in the next day or two :)

Morning all, a much better nights sleep last night so I actually feel awake today :) Now that I'm just about done with all of Augusts financial targets I decided to venture back onto the scales this morning, only to find that I have put half a stone back on  (10 stone 12lbs) I am not surprised tbh as I have been eating so much junk recently and doing no exercise at all :o:o

So, today is the day I am going to clamber back onto the weightwatchers wagon; I will count my points again, I will wear my walk with me tracker to see how many steps I do, and I will generally be good again ;) I have 2 weeks until I go back to work and am aiming to get back to 10 and a half stone by then, with the aim of being 10 stone by october half-term. Here we go again .... :D
