  • I know you're right, I'm just sooo impatient :p:o

I was thinking that what I may do (not sure when) is send a message via f/b, basically our messages back and forth tended to consist of asking each other 3 questions ... stuff like (a) last 3 songs listened to (b) best piece of advice you've ever been given (c) favourite colour jelly baby etc ... anyway, what I thought I may do is send a message saying something like ...

hi, hope you're feeling better now ... who would have thought that after all that chatting I'd think of more questions :) ... (1) how did that happen again to your neck? (long story ;)), (2) not sure what to put here yet (3) are you free next weekend for more coffee / dinner??

    honest thoughts please!! :o

    See post #1819 :rotfl:

It's only Tuesday. Leave it until tomorrow night and then consider contact via facebook if you haven't heard anything. Maybe...

Fairy nuff. Spend the next 24 hours deciding what your next 3 questions will be. I would still steer clear of Friday night though. He may well suggest something or he may already be doing something then and you'll feel gutted if he's busy.

I'm sure you'll hear something soon anyway. How far away is he? From you I mean, not me. I'm miles away, lol!

PS - my favourite jelly baby is orange :D

Orange??? Thats pretty unusual ;) Have never met anyone who says green though, don't know why they make them??

Yep, I will think some more on the questions, I'm slightly concerned that he's being cautious as right near the beginning when we first started chatting online we were talking about the court case (him being ex policeman), and he said something about he thought I was looking for friendship rather than relationships for now as I had lots to deal with going on ... I hope he doesn't still think that :o

AAAAGGGGHHHH!!! Still, at least this makes a change from whinging about the csa and the ex ;) :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yeah, I don't like green, yellow or white sweets. I will eat them if that's all that's left though as I am a pig. Green is my daughter's favourite colour sweet. Weirdo! :rotfl:

Easy peasy re the friendship/relationship discussion stuff. Don't mention ex and court case stuff. If/when he mentions it, say, 'You know what, I haven't thought about it for ages. I realised that it's nothing to do with me now, whatever happens will happen and it's not my problem.'

You can do the same kinda thing with the CSA stuff as well if he knows about that.

I'm sure after the long, long coffee session the other day, he knows you're up for a relationship! I bet you were doing the mirroring bit and flicking your hair loads ;):rotfl:

Morning all, yet another murky wet day here :( I'm picking dad up in about half an hour, we were going to go for a walk down the beach but its too wet and cold for him so will probably just come back here instead. Mum is going shopping for the day, will do her good :)

Nothing else to report so far today, no doubt will be back on here later though :D

  • BB how about taking DS to a Wacky Warehouse type place so he can play and you and your dad can have a coffee while you watch him, that might help pass some of the time for you all while you're looking after your dad?

sounding good with the tall guy ;-)
  • Morning BB,

I don't know what to tell you to do, but my gut instinct says if you hear from him in the next couple of days you could ask him then, but be prepared for him to be busy etc. Wow i didn't know there were so many "rules" with all this dating stuff, maybe i won't change hubby for a newer model after all!:D

Hope that the weather clears up for you today, it's murky and raining here too, my mum is coming today so she can play trains with DS - we'll prob do some craft and board game playing too. DS has a couple of the Cranium games they are fab and i highly recommend them if you come across them anytime (mine were a sale bargain and a charity shop find!)

    Have a good day, TTFN.
  • Hugs to you, I'm sure you are coing with the "what to do next" far better than you imagine and if he suddenly changes the way he was before you met then he's either worrying more than you
OR he's not the man you thought he was xxx

Have to say I like orange, yellow and the green jelly babies. Can't stand red or black.
