Am confused though as it went really well? Never mind, we'll see ....
Anyway, today ... it will be an indoor cheap day today, asda delivery is coming at some point between 10-6, and the rest of the day will be a mammoth tidying / deep-cleaning / gutting kinda day

Hey BB
O.K I'm going to be bossy....:p Enough of the negativity!!
Firstly he's a man, men don't get this whole replying to a text thing.
Secondly, maybe he was out last night, up early and busy at work today?
Thirdly, He could be playing it cool - like other posters have said you don't willingly spend 4 hours in the company of someone you don't like!
Don't beat yourself up, give it time, if you don't hear anything next time your heading out for a walk or something invite him as a mate, and see what happens, but i bet you hear from him by tomorrow!
Have a good chill out day, i have been out to the local co-op this morning, just having a 10 min chill whilst DS is playing, then it's a hoover and then he wants to play trains after our trip yesterday!:o0 -
Thankyou Ali

Very tall, good looking, looks like an actor and uses this site?
Sounds like me except for the second bit and as for the actor, well I'd call Sully from Monsters Inc an actor, wouldn't you??
Seriously though, as others have said, us blokes aren't great at responding to texts and it is a real fine line between chasing the reply up and pestering him. If he uses this site, he probably uses other ones and he may be getting "advice" from them as well on how to play it. I'm on one site and when questions like this come up, the contributors seem to advocate the "three day" gap between the first date and the second one. Not sure where that leaves the question about texting though, sorry!:p
Good luck anyway, you'd be a fine catch for any man. And 6'7"?? Flipping heck, that's tall.:T0 -

Still here, BB. Like the Hotel California, no-one ever leaves....:D
Just can't muster the enthusiasm to complete the diary (again). Might restart it but I can never make it interesting enough to keep any followers following. I'm sure folk used to read it but as it generally consisted of me whinging about self-inflicted problems, I wouldn't blame them if they reached for the 'off button'.....:rotfl:0 -
So, the guinea pigs have been cleaned and moved back into the lounge, the washing machine is done, beds have been stripped and remade, and now I'm just having 5 minutes on here before I crack on with the next bit. My plan is to get everywhere clean and tidy then start going through drawers and cupboards etc and being quite ruthless, the place is getting crammed full of stuff again and there just isn't the room for it all.
I also want to have a mooch at stuff in Lakeland and IKEA for storage and see if theres some better ideas for organising some stuff

My bedroom is all clean and sparkly again, the lounge is fairly tidy, as is the bathroom and kitchen. There is washing drying everywhere which makes it all look untidy though.
We have just spent an hour culling ds bookcases and have ended up putting almost 50% of it into the car boot pile  He has some gorgeous books but is way too old for them now (guess how much I love you, going on a bear hunt etc). He also wanted to get rid of his mr men books and set of thomas books, so that has left a huge gap on his shelves, no doubt it won't take long to fill them again though
So I now have a huge pile in the hall waiting to go down to the garage to be put with car boot stuff. I don't have much in there at the moment as I binned a load last summer, but the stuff I do have is all decent saleable stuff, but stuff like books aren't worth sticking on ebay because of their weight. At least its a bit more space in his room and potential money at some point when the weather improves
I did struggle though with letting some of his books go, guess I have to accept he's growing up
Coffee break time again now, still waiting for the shopping to arrive, then time to crack on with the next bit. The washing machine is currently doing its 4th load today.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

I actually found it harder than getting rid of his baby stuff, I think because so much of that was stuff that "we" had bought him, or had come from ex's family etc, so I was happy to be rid of that stuff, whereas this is all stuff that I have bought him or my family/friends have given him.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
