not as such.....but I have as many friends who are guys, as I do girls.....and always have done.....but since I became newly single, the guys have become a lot more friendly (genuinely rather than in any sort of fanciable way, IYKWIM) and far more communicative - I guess before they always saw me as part of a couple and therefore a bit out of the circle if that makes sense.
They have become quite protective in many ways of me, and at the same time are always the ones to encourage me to the pub etc to behave badly
They have been very good for my confidence over the last few months.
But I HAVE had to learn that they see nothing wrong in waiting a couple of days to reply to a text message......I no longer get wound up by it!
and yes, I am making "new" friends too. Nothing more to report. Yet :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Hypno, that sounds to me like a new man isn't too far away in your future
Still no reply.I forgot to mention earlier that I called the csa again today and finally got to speak with the lady dealing with our case. She has basically told my ex he must make a payment on monday when he gets paid or they will go straight to his employer and can take up to 40% of his pay to clear some of the arrears, so it looks as though I may receive some money in the next couple of weeks :j :j She still doesn't know the exact figure he currently owes but thinks its probably around £800 :eek:Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

So pleased the CSA are starting (finally) to play hardball with your ex, he's got away with bad behaviour for far too long!
Try not to fret about not getting a text back yet from Mr Coffee and make sure you sit on your hands so you don't get tempted to send another text!! Hope he will reply, no reason why he wouldn't, you sound so lovely and he's probably just trying not to look too keen even though he is
