Clearly it was all very superficial mess as almost everything is away in its rightful place already :j I guess my housework rota is working better than I realised, its just gone to pot for the last few days. Everywhere still needs a good clean but that bit doesn't take that long usually, its the tidying bit first thats the time consuming bit.
I will go round now with the duster and clean the bathroom / kitchen etc, but the hoover will have to wait til the morning as downstairs have two little uns and its not fair to start hoovering now if they're off to bedBut at least if I know that the only bits left for tomorrow are the hoovering and the ironing then thats not so bad
So, quick plan for the rest of the weekend;- clean the flat
- hoover
- ironing
- banking
- food shopping
- eyebrows
- some exercise
- sort out all ww bumph
- paperwork sorting yet again
- change the bedding
- clear the washing mountain
- start writing a list for half-term
I need to try to save some money on the food shopping this week as I have spent a huge chunk of my money today and its only the 5th and we've got a week off school this month to cover too
and no sign of any money from the ex either ...
I think I forgot to say that I called the csa again on friday, they still haven't heard back from his last employer (they have until monday to reply), so still haven't done an assessment. I can't believe how utterly slow they can be, they haven't chased him once yet for not sending in payslips that he said would be sent in January ...  They asked me if he still lives at the same address, I sais yes as far as I know, but why can't you just ring him?? They didn't really give an answer to that :cool:Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Hee hee Milly / Pixie, liking the new name by the way, in fact am thinking of changing mine too ....
Anyway, back to the list ... it will be bits and pieces that need doing round the flat mainly, like; sorting out all my drawers in my bedroom and chucking stuff, finally restarting bay again (I was scared off after my negative last time), clearing a load of junk from the garage to the tip, working on a huge matched betting offer that needs doing in Feb
, gutting ds bedroom: cupboards, bookcase etc, stuff like that really. None of it very exciting but then the weather is usually pants in february, so I don't suppose there will be much else on offer that week anyway, and it also stops me going out spending lots of money

So far the washing mountain has gone (third lot has just gone in), but it will reappear tomorrow when I change the beds and ds comes home
The bathroom is now all sparkly and clean, the kitchen is clean except for the floor, all the ww stuff has been filed away neatly and thats about it. I think I may get into bed in a minute and read through the ww bumph again, hopefully if I have an early night tonight then I will get up at a reasonable time tomorrow and achieve some more!Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Morning all
I had a good nights sleep, I managed to look at the banking last night before bed and I seem to have an extra £100 somehow
I need to look at it again later, theres no way thats right but I can't see where its gone wrong yet.
Coffee is done, time to get dressed and then head off to tescos and get that out the way before it gets too busy.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Hmm, well that didn't really go to plan ...
Back from tescos and somehow I managed to spend £63 in there   I also spent £40 filling up with petrol  So theres another £100+ gone in less than an hour ...
However, the cupboards are absolutely heaving, there is tonnes of fresh fruit and veg and I am hoing now not to need to buy another item of food or drink for ages and ages
I have gone through the receipt and I really didn't go overboard on extravagant stuff. I did buy a bag of grapes (the only fruit ds will currently eat) and they were £3.43  but he is very fussy foodwose at the moment and its the only fruit I can get into him. I did also get several meal things that have a longer use by date on them (quorn etc), had to buy guinea pig stuff, but other than that there was nothing particularly expensive or wild. Prices in general are just getting more and more outrageous and don't even start me on the petrol prices ... It used to cost me £30 to fill the car, today was £40 and the tank was still about a quarter full before I filled up  Hey ho, we'll keep walking to school a couple of times a week which all helps. I did buy some ww snacks which were on 3for2 which will hopefully mean I don't need to buy any at the meeting on wednesday.
Off onw for a relaxing bath before ds gets back, then I need to get some more bits done off my listMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

It is definitely getting more expensive each month, benben - It costs almost £70 to fill my car up now.....quite a scary thing, but one that can't really be avoided.
Same with the shopping - I have just had my Tesco delivery and although I have got everything I need, I haven't exactly gone overboard, and still spent £113.....and that was without some of the more expensive things that often are needed like dishwasher tabs and washing powder etc.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Where do you shop Ben Ben do you go to the same supermarkets each week, I have been going to Morrisons lately and I get so much more for my money, as me and dh are on healthy eating at moment we are managing to get loads of veg, fruit, stir fry veg, noodles and the sauce all half price, I spent £38 yesterday for 2 of us and that will last us 2 weeks. have you got a morrisons near you.;)
Make £200 by end of January... £20.42/£200
Grocery Challenge £200 pm Jan £0/£200

I went to tescos today because I had a £10 voucher from a survey site to use (I put £10 from my food budget into the mortgage pot to replace the voucher if that makes sense?). I find tescos are cheaper than sainsburys but are more than Asda, but the last couple of lots I've had from asda have been pretty poor quality stuff. I only have a small morrisons near me. I think I must start making a list and sticking to it, as I buy tonnes of fruit / veg but it doesn't all get eaten before it needs chucking out
Also as ds is so fussy with food I end up having to buy some different stuff for his meals as he simply won't eat many of the things I eat on ww. He does eat tonnes of breakfast cereal though which I am happy about, but they aren't cheap either  (Every morning he has 2 weetabix, a bowl of cheerios and a bowl of multigrain shapes). The cheerios were on bogof this week so got 2 big boxes of them, but like you hypno this shop didn't include any washing powder / dishwasher stuff / toilet rolls / bin basgs etc, just food
So, the lesson from this is to (a) meal plan and write a shopping list (b) walk everywhere as much as possible which is good for the utterly fab plan and also for the petrol budget
My bath is done, the beds are changed and one lot of sheets is in the machine right now, the lounge and hall are hoovered, just off to do the bedrooms, then I may even plan this weeks meals / snacks. Theres no doubt about it, pennies must be savedMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
