He is doing nights in the job he's currently doing but this is *another* new one, so I'm assuming its daytime shifts, maybe I'd better check that actually
It should mean the maintenance payments will be delayed yet again, as the assessment was going to be done at the end of January, but as he's starting the new job on 31st January they will have to start all over again and wait a month for payslips etc ... seeing as he hasn't paid since the beginning of October I am sure I can wait a bit longer .... he will have arrears to pay but they will take that in dribs and drabs. There are vrious reasons why this job may not last very long either anyway, so who knows when or if I will see a payment

Morning all, thanks for the update Groatie :T :T
The £10 voucher I claimed yesterday will go into the xmas fund and I will transfer £10 cash into the mortgage pot, so a bit more to add to the total
Today we're waiting for the asda delivery somewhere between 10-6, ds is doing his homework project, a bit more housework to do, the tax return still to do and maybe some time on the Wii tooI'm hoping for a nsd too, well apart from the food delivery obviously

I know its daft but having sent an hour now sat on the sofa I need to write todays jobs into a list or I won't get them done
Its that psychological bit about crossing them off the list
- tax return
- food shopping away
- baths
- ds homework
- banking
- find another £16 from somewhere to get my total under £32K
- clean laptop screen so I can see what I'm typing
- clear inbox
- ironing
- make soup for lunch
- clean bathroom
- beat ds at Mario Kart
- clean kitchen floor
- clean guinea pigs
- enter 50 comps
Right, best go and get started me thinks

I can't do the food shopping away or the guinea pigs til the delivery has been, baths will be later tonight, bit early for soup, I tried at Mario Kart and came 12th again, some of the stuff to be ironed isn't dry yet so no point starting that yet either, so it looks like it will be the tax return next, which is the one job I am not looking forward to, well I'm not exactly looking forward to any of them, but thats the worst one iyswim :rotfl:

Sorry BB, had to chuckle at you coming 12th at mario kart. I find I either come last or first, there is never a happy medium!
Have a great day1 -
I had another go Alison and came 10th, so am improving
Right, tax return is done, well done as much as I can ... it has to be submitted online, and I have had to register and they will send me an activation code this weekI have worked out all the figures though on paper and it will just be a case of submitting them, so thats not so bad
Ds has almost completed his homrwork too without any fuss, he loves geography and the homework involves finding out about 4 European countries, their capital cities, population, drawing their flag etc
Once he's finished I think I'll crack on with the soup and then make a start on some comping this afternoon for an hour or so before tackling the next bit of the listMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Asda delivery has been, all put away and an email sent to their customer services as there was a tub of fruit missing from the order and a box of 36 gingerbread men that I ordered has arrived but is best before today  Will see what they say. So far, the total is £42, if they refund these items it will come down to £39.

Good luck with Asda - I emailed them twice about a couple of very short date items that I was delivered a couple of months ago and they never replied:mad: I should have chased it up, but couldn't be bothered to ring so just let it go - obviously hasn't put me off as here I am waiting for my delivery from them now:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0
