What are my rights ? Faulty Mobile phone
Options
Hi,
I bought a T-mobile Pulse phone approx 6 months back.
In the last couple of months i have had coverage problems (no bar signals on the phone screen)mainly at work-I work at T5 Heathrow.
I end up switching phone off and restarting it and then getting some bar signals--this does not last long at then I am back to no service.
I took the phone back to T-mobile shop-they sent it off and gave me a replacement phone which was a basic Nokia classic and was brilliant compared to the Pulse phone.
I got the Pulse back after a couple of weeks and within one day was back to no sevice no bar signals on my phone--The other problem was it kept restaring it self if I tried to dial out.
I took it back to T-mobile shop and they said all they could do was send it off again and see if it can be repaired by there guys .
I really wanted to know what my rights are --am i allowed to get refund or am I entitled to a new phone maybe on the basis the phone hasnt been fit for the purpose it was required for.
I asked that manager at the shop what i was entitled to and he said there was 3 strike policy where if it was not still working after 3 attempts to repair, we will consider replacing it.
I am just fed up because people cannot get hold of me at work or even at my home area.
If anyone could help i will be grateful
Thanking you

IIRC you have to give the retail a chance to remedy the fault, it's not as if they are not trying to do so, as the manager has not washed his hands of the situation.0

If theyre sending it off for repair without issue and giving you a courtesy phone in the meantime I think they are fulfilling your rights.0
