Elfen, my last landlord had no problem with me getting Virgin. If you think about it, you're adding to the value of their property, they can advertise it as having cable installed. And it's not as damaging as a sky dish.

SRM, when I went to my friend's memorial a few weeks ago she'd designed the service, written words to read out, everything. It was strange, but also comforting, and it all fitted her character. Like you say, it puts a lot into perspective.

I'm back from my writing group, had a good talk about ideas and read some of the other guy's work. When we arranged our next date I realised Bristol is only this weekend, eek!

Then I went for a carvery, 3.59 and it was fab. Can't go wrong at that price!

Now I'm waiting till 7 so I can phone sister about this weekend, and ask dad to get me a printer using his discount so sister can bring it with her. I asked him a few weeks ago but he must have forgotten. Or got confused cos it was just before he got me the bluray player.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    What do you do Gemmzie???
Could be worse, tomorrow morning my BF is meeting the vicar in the churchyard to choose her "plot"....

and my other friend with BC was taken into hospital after going rapidly downhill over the weekend...she is hoping (!!) to go into a hospice next week...

I don't even know what to type here, that is just awful. Really puts things into perspective. I was going to come on here and have a moan, but that's just given me the kick up the 4rse I needed. (And made me fill up a bit too reading about the sports day) When I think of what some people have to deal with and the things I worry about, there is no comparison really. Thank you SRM and I hope you are okay too, it must be so hard at the moment with your friends being so ill. You seem really motivated and supportive - I'm sure they take so much strength from that.
