Morning all. I think a few of us need to have a fresh start this week.

Kayleigh, I hope the visit to the police station goes well.

Morning all.. hope it turns out to be a good Monday for everyone.

It's pouring with rain here and I am shattered! Been decorating this weekend and I ache all over. Pleased with how it's turned out though :)

Looking like a quiet day at work so going to try and keep myself busy with something productive, like my staff appraisal form and a couple of training things I'm doing.

Squizz - decorating.....does this mean you'll be moving in soon? ;)

Rained here over night and it's very dark and miserable here now...my cat's keep looking at me as if to say "sort it out woman, I want to bask in the sun".

I'm in Paisley looking at jobs - God things are thin on the ground. I hope I get on this Newcastle course and things look better in a years time - I don't think anyone is recruiting at the mo. Looking at a job in Durham that would give me a 3-5k salary cut!

Have had a nice weekend. Found my relatives in the poorhouse records of the Mitchell library, so things aren't that bad in retrospect.

Going to do some applying and then meet up with the man after his work and before I get on the train.

    Ha,mine too Pooky!!!
Someones looking out for me today-on the way back from the gym ( I was there by 0810, 40mins running, quick shower and a whizz round Sainsburys..) I popped into the boarding kennels to see if a) I had booked the cat in for the right dates in August, and b) to see if they would take DS for a 2 day community placement in Oct (they will!) and someone came down the (uphill) drive as I was coming out. Typical Merc driver..HE wasn't going to back up to allow me out so I had to. I rolled the car back down the slope, and failed to spot a low brick wall-that is, until I heard the scraping sound as my car rolled into it!!!! Well the air was blue-the Merc driver didn't even bother to thank me, and I drove all the way home wondering how bad the damage was.
Got home, went round the back to see the carnage-but nothing!!!Got down on my hands and knees for a closer look, and it appears the wall was so low, the car went over it, and the exhaust has a layer of brick dust where it caught the wall..that's it!! Result...

Well, considering I appear to have a say in what colours the rooms are getting painted.. and yesterday I bought a picture, that I really liked, for the spare room.. I think it's definitely getting closer! ;)
