again why blame an innocent van when it's clearly the fault of the stupid driver.

Im aware of this.... BUT
Im not convinced that diverting my attention to the red/orange striped transit van is going to do anything for the guy standing on the opposite side of the road in his "inevitably" filthy black (if he's not the boss), used to be hi-vis coat.
How many roadside rescue people have been hit or had close calls on motorways despite the stripey van?
Distractions are a bad idea....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

So 3 drivers failed to leave a big enough gap between themselves & the vehicle in front, yet it is still the fault of the driver of the parked vehicle?Strider590 wrote: »
The car at the front saw the van and (despite driving at the speed limit) hit the brakes REALLY hard, the car behind had to brake even harder and the two cars behind that skidded to a halt just inches from eachother,Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
Is this a wind up? the op cant seriously be blaming the parked up van with high vis markings for the action of a rubbish car driver? If the other cars behind the muppet driver had been keeping an appropriate distance from the car in front (as defined by highway code) then there would be less risk of rear end shunts.......its always someones elses fault and we always have to have someone to blame (I wish there was a shakes head and toddles off smiley)0

Indeed, the only vehicle / driver that was innocent was the parked van.;)0 -
The OP is moaning about police hiding behind wheelie bins in another thread. It seems theres no satisfying this one - either you want police to be seen or you don't - make your mind up.0
