When you are told of all the alternative methods that do not involve extortion or mail scams you appear not to hear. The mail scams or blackmail attempts have nothing to do with regulation of parking and anyone who believes that they they do is very naive.
I don't work for any PPC...check out my previous posts and you'll see my advice is always 'ignore, ignore' ignore'.
I'm just trying to see things from the landowners pov.
So I'll try again...exactly why should a landowner have to install bollards etc to stop people trespassing, despite a sign asking them not to??
What would you suggest with Mr "I'll park where I like because the invoices are unenforceable, inc in ambulance bays"???Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Just as a shopkeeper has to install a door to stop people wandering into his shop in the middle of the night. Just putting up a notice saying "please do not enter these premises when it's unoccupied" would be ignored. There's no difference!
This why I have a fence round my garden, to stop people trespassing. A physical barrier, and not a notice is always the best solution.
As for ambulance bays. Have you any evidence that this has ever happened? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Here's another question for you to consider.
You come home from a hard days work, only to find that a strange car is parked on your drive. You park several streets away since that's as near as you can get.
You leave note on windscreen explaining this is your private drive and you need it because your dearest ickle baby is disabled. They ignore and continue to park on your drive for the next 6 months.
What would you do?? Install a bollard??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

er, no...but does that matter? Is a theoretical question too difficult? What do you do??
How about if I say yes I know for definite that it has happened, and the hospital said they were powerless to do anything. What do you do??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

You post advice on forum to help people, only to find that some idiot continually posts inane comments and ridiculous hypothetical scenarios.

Not sure, but here's another.
Why can't people answer a few simple scenarios??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Fair enough. Many people would not be as mild mannered as yourself nor see why they should have to pay to park on their own property, so top marks to you.
Now what about the ambulance bay blokie.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

We have answered them. Protect the property with a physical barrier. What other ones were you thinking about? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
