It's zoelikesjam's wedding today so hopefully she will be having a wonderful day.
Ooh, thanks for reminding us. Inded, I wish zoelikesjam and her OH a wonderful day, and much happiness in the future.

Vanilla hoping BiL's gran recovers as completely as possible.

Carlsberggal well done on getting GP appointment. Sound to me as though you're thoroughly run down - make sure you do as GP tells you, and make sure you look after you for once!

I've zipped (well OK hobbled:D) round the spare room and got the list as done as I can. There's currently 3 crates of stores in there, but we don't really have another use for the room, and storage space in the kitchen isn't really adequate.

One of these days I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get the kitchen completely redone....... but not just yet.

Friday - childrens rooms and spare room
    Level One
Clear the floor and vacuum Done (Mr LW)
    HHC on yourself!!!!!!!!!!!! HHWii, then.
    Level Two
Strip the bedding get it washed and remake the bed N/A – no spare bed.
    Wash windows Done
Binbag dance (doesn't have to be in one room it can be from all over the house!) Done
    Level Three
tidy the cupboards /drawers of clothes Done (really, they stay tidy these days!)
Catch up on important phone calls N/A; my one outstanding email has been sent (acceptance to birthday bash for a Mensa member:eek: - I have til 28th August to get good and panicky about going!:eek:)
Wipe grotty marks from the walls and paintwork Done
    Extras

    1. Clean out any pets N/A
    2. dust the light fittings/curtain poles etc Done
    3. HHI N/A – none to do. Another HHWii, perhaps??:p
    4. HHC in a room that needs lots of attention!! Already scheduled for tomorrow, when Mr LW is here to help: a major moving-out of large furniture to clean behind (wardrobes, etc). We have to be at home for Mr LW to log in to work to restart systems when he gets a SMS to tell him to do so, so it seems an excellent opportunity to do behind the large stuff.;)
I'm just going to scare up a route on Microsoft Autoroute to the birthday bash mentioned in my list above (under "catch up with important phone calls"), then try and find an EASY mushroom stroganoff recipe, for dins.

    Later, folks.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all

I managed to dry some washing outside for the first time this week, but it looks like it wants to rain any time now. Still windy.

I've dusted the living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.

    Hope everyone's OK.

Things you can do when you should be packing:

    Paint your toe nails purple
Walk around the lawn taking the weeds out by hand
    Plant out dahlias
Chat to friend on the phone
Update your credit card details on paypal
    stroke the cat
    make a quiche
    Water the plants

Need to get DS3 from school now and then take DS2 shopping, then dinner, make some muffins and then when DH walks through the door and says it the stuff ready to go in the car, get one's butt into gear.
