"Why can't one of us get down into 4 figures? That would be a good day..."
I am sure that day won't be too long now!
You are all doing so well you all deserve a :T
I know it is easy to get down about how much you owe, but we all have to keep smiling and just think of how good it will feel to be debt free :cool:Debt Free - done
Mortgage Free - done

Flat hasn't sold yet...:(
My flat hasn't sold yet either
Been on the market 8 weeks now, but the flat market round here is so saturated and they're still building more, that now I don't know whether it will sell at all.....0 -

Debt
Natwest Overdraft (£1,000 @ 0%) = £847.37
Natwest Graduate Loan (6.5%) = £0.00
Cahoot Car Loan (5.8%) = £3,074.46
Credit Card (0% til May) = £1,100.00
Student Loan = £9,100.00
Credit
Total = £714.46
TOTAL = £13,407.37
TOTAL PAID OFF SINCE START OF CHALLENGE = £5,128.44
This sounds quite good, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to pay the service charge on my flat this month - £450 - so there's not going to be much more change in my totals for a while.0 -
Ok, needing a bit of a psychological boost at the moment and have just had a look at my payslip. Apparently this tax year I've paid £833 off my student loan.
You only get a statement from the Student Loan Co once a year, but think I'm justified in taking £600 off my total (the rest being to cover interest). Agreed?
That would take student loan down to £8500 and overall debt sub-£13k!!!!.0 -
I'm not counting mine as I figure it'll be paid off in just over a year through normal payments.
I've had two offers on my flat but they are over 5% under the asking price so I turned them down. The estate agent seemed keen that I accept the higher one but they could obviously see the commission in their grasp and wanted rid of me!
Now I'm having second thoughts...
I figured that I will wait until after the bank holiday weekend and, if nobody wants to offer anything within 5% of the asking price by then, I will drop the price again by 5% and take the best offer I get I suppose :mad:

At least you're getting some interest! I've not had a single offer... :mad:.0
